Driving BMW down the redwood hwy 99 on a recent Sunday I ran over a number of rocks falling from the cliffside and put a large hole in my oil pan. Was able to get a 40 mile tow to the Foreign Garage in Brookings. Long story short, the owner was able to get a new pan shipped in and worked overtime to replace it. Had me back on the road within 48 hours. Owner is a master mechanic who did an incredible job. Over 500 miles later and no leaks. Rescued me from what could have been a much longer ordeal. My most hearty thanks and do not hesitate to use the Foreign Garage for any service needed. Thank you.

Works on high end exotics like Ferrari, Bentley, Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, Range Rover etc. but also regular cars like ford Chevy Toyota. For me? He changed out two rear trunk batteries and recharged my A/C in my 2011 Bentley Flying Spur. On my 2006 Ferrari F430 Spyder he changed the oil, plugs, brake flush, 2 fuel pumps, 1 oil pump and some other things I’ve forgotten. He also changed the oil on my 2019 Honda Ridgeline. He does ANY vehicle. He’s a master mechanic and takes pride in his work. Leave him a message he’ll call you back.

This is an excellent place to take your car for your foreign cars. I would only use Lazlo for all my auto repairs.

When I moved to Harbor OR i need it a mechanic to service and work on my Mercedes Benz. I googled European car mechanics in the Curry County area and Foreign Garage pop up. I called for an appointment and brought it to the Gentlemen there, I gave him my key. he started writing on a yellow repair invoice, as I was telling him my name, cell phone & the problem that I was having with my car battery also order an oil change. please call me when you have an estimate ready for me!. The next day he called saying that I need it a battery and he was going to order and the price was $200 plus his labor. I said great go ahead order the battery please and let me know when the car will be ready. 1 week went by and no car or call so I came over to check on the progress and it was ready to go but now the bill was $1784 apparently the oil change, new battery, clean throttle plate, & he said he had to spend time massaging the Excelerator cable that was sticking and it made it sound like it was running high. I wasn't ready for a bill of that Magnitude, omg I said, sir here is $400 cash will be back with a check thank you. he said as I was leaving, you won't be able to take the car until I cash check first. I wc

I'm new in town. I was referred to this man by what I thought was a friend. After agreeing to pay 100.00 an hour for labor on my car after the work was done I found out he charged me 250.00 an hour. TIMES 30 HOURS! That's right 7500.00 for changing out two fuel pumps an oil/water pump and basic labor oil/transmission fluid/ brake bleed etc. He wanted cash. He doesn't take credit cards and I can see why. This is a dishonest man. I could tell by the "what are you going to do about it" look he gave me when I complained. No money. No keys. I paid but I also intend to file fraud charges. If you are stuck using this man make sure he gives you a written estimate. If he says he's not really sure this is a huge red flag. I kept asking and he kept putting me off until the end. Welcome to Harbor! Terrible little man with a crooked work ethic.

This guy Lazlo is the typical quote one hourly rate then triple the price once he has your car held hostage at his shop. Be careful with this mechanic. He is ruthless! Charged us $7,000 for repairs that he quoted $100 an hour and at the end pointed to a finely hand written price of $250 an hour. His excuse was he pointed to the sign. Well we saw the bold print of $100 and not the handwritten $250! What a scam!
