I backed into something and broke the tail light on my truck. They said to bring it by at 10 today and they'd replace the light and buff out a small scratch while I waited; said it should only take about 30 minutes. I handed them the keys at 10 sharp, it was done 22 minutes later. Tail light replaced, buffed out a small scratch in the paint and put a little touch up paint on to keep it from rusting. A repair place that does what they said, when they said, for the price quoted and does it quicker than they estimated... and did a perfect job. Unbelievable.

Awesome body shop! What I thought couldn’t be fixed on my Chev Blazer, Eric & Tim did the repairs from my auto accident for which I am so grateful for. Also, I was expecting my car to be at their shop at least a couple of weeks, they had it back on the road within a week. Excellant customer service! Thanks so much Eric & Tim?Also, I must mention the cost was very reasonable too!Services: Steering & suspension repair

A body shop that completes 80% of the job but expects 100% payment. I will start out by saying that you would be better off saving both your time and money by going to any other quality body shop. I regret repairing my car here and wish I had left it as is. At least I would still have a quiet ride. The first red flag was the way Tim quoted me. He quoted me without looking under the hood or under the car, missing many parts required to fix the car. He told me he could book me for two months later. I should have just moved on and found another body shop. Tim called me the day the car was going to paint with news that the bumper cover I brought him wasn't going to work and that he would need to order a different one. If he had inventoried the parts the day after the drop off and figured out what parts would and wouldn't work, I wouldn't have been delayed another two weeks. I dropped my car off on August 8th and picked it up on September 2nd. I was originally told I would get the car on August 22nd. I went in on August 28th to ask for an update and expressed some frustration about the lack of communication. His secretary made up a false story about my interaction with her, and Tim called me hot and bothered. However, I had a witness with me, and when I told him the story she made up was far from the factual truth and could be backed up, he dropped it. When I picked the car up on September 2nd, Tim was in a big hurry, and I wasn't able to inspect the car properly. When you pick up your car from Austen's Body Shop, ensure you have time to inspect the car and take your own before and after photos! I picked up a different car. I had no air conditioning. I had no working headlights. My airbags were flashing. There was overspray all over the windshield and roof. The leather on the door was stained. My paint had swirls marks as if someone had vigorously clay-bared the car to remove overspray without compound or polishing. My door seals were ruined when the doors were both removed and then reinstalled. The paint correction from my detailer alone was over $700+ to restore the paint to the condition it was in prior to dropping the car off to Tim. Tim took apart my doors and then put them back together without replacing the seals. He doesn't know that Infiniti always recommends replacing the seals after a door is disassembled. Due to the ruined door seals, both doors, when driving above 30 mph, make a whistling noise similar to that of a kettle boiling on a stove. Replacement of the seals will be over $1,300 for both sides. Both doors also leak water whenever it rains. When I received the car on September 2nd, the car was missing over seven parts, and I took the car back to Tim less than a week later. I shouldn't have given Tim the chance to fix it. I should have taken it to a body shop with attention to detail. Due to being delayed 11 days, I paid over $900 for a rental car, including the 27 days total the car was in the shop. (Originally told the car would be in the body shop for no more than 14 days) Tim neglected to determine the parts the vehicle actually needed when the car was dropped off, and his mistake cost me an additional fee for my rental car. I dropped off a laundry list of things that were not completed, and he told me he fixed all my issues when in fact he only fixed two. If the truth is willing to be compromised on such a small issue, what other bigger issues will be compromised? Stay away from Austen's Body Shop

Originally took my car to them on a recommendation to diagnose a water leak on the passenger side of my vehicle. They told me it was 100% the sunroof drains, however having just had those cleaned and inspected I did not believe this was the case. When I tried to ask what else it could be I was repeatedly told it was definitely the sunroof drain, and was talked to as though I had no idea what I was talking about.Took my car somewhere else and finally discovered the true source of the leak; the seam between the roof and the passenger side body. After getting this information to Austin's they told me they would have to remove the entire roof skin and reinstall it. I wanted them to just seal up the seam, but they told me this was a bad option and they would not do it. I agreed to the roof reinstall as I did not have other options at that point and needed the leak fixed.I called them the day before I was scheduled to reaffirm that the next day I could bring my car in to be worked on. I was reassured that I was still on for the next day. I make the 45 min drive there the next day along with another person to take me home so I could leave my car there. On the way back home they call me to tell me that they will not work on my car and I need to come back and pick it up. This decision to not work on my car had apparently happened some time ago but I was never informed. In talking with them on the phone and tying to understand why they would not fix my car, they told me that they would maybe work on it but they would have to replace the entire passenger quarter-panel for thousands of dollars. Finally found a good honest local place that would seal up the leaking seam instead of all the ridiculous things Austin's was quoting me. Water leak is completely fixed. Was never even offered a decent explanation, or an apology for the refusal to work on my car and the horrible lack of communication around that.Would never let Austin's Body Shop touch my car again, and would caution anyone I know from using them.Service: Body & Trim
