Alex’s warm welcome ‘back’ to the Canby Ford Service dept made me feel like I’d just returned home. He was attentive to all the things I wanted checked on my new-to-me Ford Explorer. Ryan followed up with great details of what was serviced and what couldn’t be completed. Overall, I left very satisfied and will definitely be back.

I had an appointment at 9:30! I dropped off car at 9:20 and was told they would check it out and call in a couple of hours! A couple of hours past and I heard nothing! Another couple of hours past and still heard nothing! I tried to call and got sent to answering machine, no one returned my call 6 1:2 hours later I called and was told no one had even looked at my car and they would. Need to keep over night! I had already taken one day off work! I find out the next day at noon that the part I need would take 3 weeks to get and so car is still not fixed! Not HAPPY

I'd like to say great things about my recent service experience at Canby Ford, but there were a few things that stood out to me where they could be better. The communication that I received from my advisor was virtually non-existent, I was left for most of two days without information on my car, that was unacceptable. I called on a Friday afternoon to request service regarding a brake job that they did a few months earlier, I got an appointment for the following Thursday where I could be worked in. My car was with them all day on Thursday, I called for an update, and I never was able to connect with Ryan my service advisor. On the next day, I called repeatedly to check on progress, by the end of the day, they diagnosed the problem and would fix it on Monday.
It did get fixed by late Tuesday morning, so the work, was eventually acceptable, just not the communication.

I’ve made numerous attempts to reach Canby Fords part/repair department. I paid full MSRP on an 2021 Explorer last year. They assured me the back up camera issue was a recall issue and will be fixed. After further review with this recall, it turns out I need a new computer module which is nearly $1000 (the recall won’t cover this). I’ve called 20 times and nobody has given me a solution. They said the owner would reach out but has not done so yet. I expect a higher level of service.
I will take this review down once this issue gets resolved.

I love driving Ford and for my regular or unexpected maintainance needs , I use Dick's Camby Ford Service.
Alex and the entire Dick's Camby Ford Service Staff are very professional and great to work with.
