Don't waste your time.
I called and made an appt. I stated that I had my Federal Taxes completed but needed to file Oregon and California Taxes. My federal taxes were completed due to investments and sale of a business in Texas.
I showed up and waited 15 minutes past appointment time and when I handed my completed Federal Taxes so that they could input it into the system and complete both my State Taxes I was informed that they would not enter the information and that they were unable to do my California State Taxes.
The previous year I used HR Block in California and they had no issue entering the data from my completed federal taxes into their system. I called two other HR Branches in Oregon and they stated they would be able to assist me.
This branch seems to be unable to use their own software that other branches have no problem using.

The deadline for filing my Dad's Taxes was approaching fast and I didn't know how to handle his situation with assisted living expenses, so I went to H&R Block in Canby for help. They were awesome. They even amended his Tax return from the prior years to get a much better refund for him. Kim Hart was amazing and I am definitely going back to her next TAX season.

K.Hart shouldn't be doing taxes to begin with! Your companys tax software is so out of date it's pathetic and K.Hart didn't even know that I could get the taxes electronically without submitting my ID and forcing me to come in even though I was severly sick w/ a Dr note. Finally had to be transferred over to 2 different workers after speaking with Jenna Lee and the supervisor with 0 calls back after being promoted I would! If it wasn't for my mother over looking the taxes HR Block made a $1600 error , wouldn't own up too it and simply replied back that's my job to find the error upon reviewing it. This isn't how I want to support or ever go to a business again and if I could get ALL my money back from HR Block I would! K.Hart, Jenna Lee, Emilie Kaina you all are absolutely terrible unprofessional, and need a severe talking to from the owner and HR Block as a whole. The type of business behavior you presented is not one that is tolerated or acceptable an ANY business EVER!

Kim was absolutely wonderful. She helped correct my taxes that were done incorrectly by a different tax pro and she patiently explained every question I had.

Will never use H&R Block again. I’ve used the over 20 years, and pay between 300-400 each time. Paying that much means you’re supposed to get updates. I’ve gotten 1 update in a month. When I asked the person questions I get snide, generic responses to my email. Tell me they don’t care about the customers that keep them employed. I’ve completely had it with rude lying companies like them.
