A Dream Come True – The Perfect LOTR Wedding!
We had our wedding at Lavender Owl Farm, and we truly could not have asked for a more magical experience. From the beginning, Lesley and Melissa went above and beyond to make our wedding everything we dreamed of—and more.
Our theme was The Lord of the Rings, and Lesley (the owner and officiant) created the most beautiful and heartfelt ceremony, filled with meaningful Tolkien references and touches of nerd culture that made it feel personal, unique, and unforgettable.
The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. Surrounded by nature, every corner feels alive with beauty. You can see how everything was built with respect and love for the land, blending harmoniously with the trees and natural landscape. It’s not only stunning—it’s also very accessible and thoughtfully designed.
They also took care of the decor, setup, and all venue services, which allowed us to relax and truly enjoy the day. The bridal suite was cozy, elegant, and comfortable—perfect for preparing and spending quiet moments before the ceremony.
Everything flowed perfectly, every detail was handled with care, and the result was even better than we ever imagined. Lavender Owl Farm didn’t just host our wedding—they brought our fantasy to life.
Thank you, Lesley and Melissa, for making it absolutely perfect. You truly outdid yourselves.

Officiant was nice however not what I expected for our ceremony. We wanted something more special than what Salem has for our small family. Pulling in it just feels like you are at someone’s house and they had an indoor area that was just a decorated door in the corner of a large barn full of empty tables. The witnesses they said they would provide just wore hoodies and jeans making it feel odd and not special. Definitely recommend bring your own people but in the end it would have felt better to go to weddings on church street (cheaper, you can bring more people and will record the ceremony) since it’s made for small fast weddings. Ultimately if you are just looking to sign papers and be on your way this could be good but it is absolutely not the cute elopement we had hoped for

I had the pleasure and privilege of getting married here this past October and I can’t recommend them highly enough. The idea of wedding planning was daunting, to the point that we were going to elope! I had one visit with Lesley and immediately felt relief. She took the reins and helped me every step of the way. I literally could not have had such a beautiful and incredible celebration without her and Melissa—I will remember it for life and I tell everyone I know all about them 🤍

Lesley and the entire Lavender Owl Farm team were an absolute dream to work with! After having a poor experience with a prior wedding venue, finding Lavender Owl Farm was a sigh of relief. Lesley showed so much interest and care for us and our wedding. She took ALL the stress off our plate with her lifetime of wedding knowledge and excellent vendor recommendations. I believe all of our vendors were on her recommended list and they were all wonderful. Her skill as a wedding coordinator is unmatched. She was attentive and never made us feel silly for all of the questions we had. It is so clear that Lesley loves what she does and lives to make wedding dreams come true. On top of the excellent service, this venue is the cutest quaint little farm ever. With so many colorful flowers, trees and adorable decor, this place feels like a dream. We had a rustic wildflower themed wedding and got SO MUCH good feedback about the grounds and how wonderfully it was all set up. If you are looking for an excellent wedding venue that will treat you like family we cant recommend Lavender Owl Farm enough! 15/10 would recommend!! Thank you so much Lelsey!!!!

We had the pleasure of working with Lesley and her staff for our Tiny Coordinated wedding this September. In May, I wanted to book our wedding in a timely manner due to needing to request time off from my work. Lesley was not available to show us the venue due to her being out of the country at the time but she was very accommodating and had Melissa come and show us the venue. We fell in love with Melissa right away. She explained all the different options and packages we could pick from. Which we gladly picked her Tiny Coordinated wedding option.
Lesley sent us a reminder to apply for our marriage License 60 days before the wedding which was really helpful. She also agreed to officiate our wedding for us so she sent us a questionnaire to tailor the ceremony to our style. Then, once closer to the wedding she sent us a draft of everything she was going to say and gave us the option to adjust it as needed. It made our ceremony exactly how we wanted it.
When we arrived to the venue, she had everything already beautiful, set up, and ready to go. She helped with getting any extra decor I had brought unloaded from the car. The dressing room was adorable with multiple mirrors to get ready at. We only used it to change into our dresses but we were very impressed with it and wished we would have booked more time to do our hair and makeup in there. My bouquet and the boutonnière made by Melissa was stunning. The flowers on the top of our arch were beautiful too.
The ceremony was beautiful and Lesley did an amazing job keeping it short, funny, and tailored to how we wanted it. It was exactly how I had envisioned. She then helped us with getting our marriage license signed and filed it after the wedding for us which was a huge relief.
She helped with getting all of the catering set up and our cake cutting organized. While my only complaint was that we ran out of tortillas, Lesley was able to get some more tortillas for us. When it was time for us to leave, we ran a bit over our scheduled time and Lesley was very nice about it.
Looking back on all of it, I was extremely happy with the experience we had at Lavender Owl Farm. It sounds like they are making even more improvements to make the venue more beautiful then it already is. The beauty of the farm like style and lots of flowery gardens speaks for itself and doesn't require much more decor. I would highly recommend to others looking to have a beautiful small intimate wedding.

I recently attended a wedding here and had a wonderful time! The venue was beautiful and the staff were really helpful and friendly making sure everything went smoothly. I’d definitely recommend them for a great celebration.

The Lavendar Owl Farm is a beautiful and humble place to host your wedding or event. The owner and her staff are genuine, kind and go above and beyond to assist you however they can to ensure your event runs perfectly. I have been to a few wedding venues in the area and so many of them feel like “wedding factories” where you are just another tick in their box but at Lavendad Owl Farm Lesley and Melissa make you feel like you are the number one priority. Such a special place and you’d be lucky to host a wedding or any event here.

I am never going to ever want to come back to this place ever again in my life and would want every person there to get a lawsuit against them for there customer service they “promised” to provide……they MADE THE BRIDE CRY for false claims and accusations they just started drama and caused a very unbelievable amount of chaos for absolutely no reason other than personality wise basically identifying as a KAREN…..way to make my COUSINS WEDDING END HORRIBLY…..I hope you guys get what you got coming to you for WHAT YOU DID!………
