I always stop here first before I go to Safeway because the folks that work here are all very kind people. They greet you warmly, help you find what you’re looking for, have a good selection, and have very fair prices.
More than once I’ve stopped by just to grab a case of beer and pack of smokes (or snag some vape cartridges for a friend), but stayed to talk to the employees.

King City Liquor Store is one of those small local gems that makes you appreciate having a neighborhood spot where everyone knows their stuff — and their customers. I stop in regularly, and every experience has been great. The store is always clean, bright, and well-organized, making it easy to find what I’m looking for without feeling rushed or crowded.
The people who work there are genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. They’re quick to offer helpful recommendations, and I’ve discovered a few new favorites thanks to their suggestions. One of the women who works there introduced me to Shanky’s Whip, which has become my go-to for a smooth nightcap — such a perfect find!
I especially want to mention Bruce, who is there most of the times I visit. He’s just wonderful — always kind, upbeat, and attentive. You can tell he takes pride in the store and in giving customers a positive experience. It’s that kind of personal touch that keeps me coming back.
