“The service is usually quite prompt and reliable, although I have had communication difficulties at times when calling in with questions. Customer service seems to be hit or miss depending on who you reach.
My major quibble is their refusal to offer auto-refills. It would be helpful if they offered this option for patients who rely on the same medications every single month. For those of us with executive dysfunction and other barriers that prevent us from remembering to manually refill our meds every month, it’s incredibly frustrating to have to do so every single time. This policy has caused me to go without my medication too frequently while I wait for my manual refill.
No explanation is given for why this is a policy, beyond being repeatedly told, “it’s because we are a compounding pharmacy.” Frankly, this excuse makes zero sense as I have worked with multiple compounding pharmacies across the country who automatically refill my medications and notify me via a simple text message reminder. Surely this is a process improvement that would help many patients avoid missing doses of crucial medications. Hopefully you will consider implementing it!”
“The pharmacy staff here are AMAZING!!! they are always incredibly friendly, reliable (I’ve heard lots of other local pharmacies have staffing issues resulting in unpredictable closures, which would be very inconvenient) they know me by name, when I come in to pick up a filled medication and need another filled while I’m there, they are always FAST and kind!!! I never have any issues filling anything with them. THANK YOU ALL”

“I really did kind of have a bad experience here at first, but Nadia, one of the pharmacists, basically saved the day for me and I guess also my life? Lol I have pneumonia. They know me very well at this pharmacy at this point. Nadia listened to me and was so so kind to me. She did an override of my Amoxicillin because I do need a new dosage. New dosage, makes it a new prescription. Instead of having to wait 2 days for it to run through insurance, I get them today because of Nadia! (The previous tech would not do this I guess or I’m not sure what was going on with Kathy last night on 4/15/25). I appreciate Nadia so much. Thank you Nadia! ??”
“Mary in the floral department is absolutely amazing. I had someone cancel on me last minute and I was scrambling to find flowers. Mary took on this task without hesitation and before my quoted time when it would start. She went above and beyond and showed her dedication and loyalty to her job. The arrangements are stunning. Her talent, expertise floral arrangement and calm demeanor, is greatly appreciated. Mary truly is a gem and a wonderful florist. “I was in the neighborhood, and stopped to read the reviews. The reviews were not that great, but I decided to come here anyway. It was 4pm and everything looked like a normal Walgreens. The cars in the parking lot looked normal. There weren't any people hanging out on the sidewalk. Looks safe to me. I went inside, and it still looked like a normal Walgreens. Humm, I dunno about those other reviews... I've never been here before, but I decided to look for the KT Tape in the same area of the store that I had found it at other Walgreens, near the Pharmacy in the back. The line at the Pharmacy was only 2 people, and the pharmacy tech was helping the first person in line. This seems normal also. I passed a few other customers, and they were minding their own business. This is a normal thing. I found the KT Tape and went to the check-out. There were a couple of customers before me, so I got to watch the interactions. The cashier was young, thin, with green hair, and had a smile on her face. She was chatting with the customers who were in line before me, and she was friendly, sociable, and laughing at their jokes. I had a good experience, and the wait times were absolutely normal. Seems like a normal Walgreens to me.”

“Incredible customer service! I requested a refill that required Provider authorization. Provider's staff did not respond to pharmacy, then sent the information to the wrong pharmacy (twice), then changed the dosage without letting me know. Pharmacist (David) contacted me about the change, worked with the Provider to get it straightened out, and expedited my request. Due to a delay that was not the fault of the pharmacy, the Rx was couriered to my home once it was completed! Thank you for going above and beyond!”

“I was visiting Portland over the last three days from the Bay Area. I realized I had forgotten to pack my prescription drugs so I visited this pharmacy Tuesday morning to see whether I could obtain three days worth of my drugs to tide me over through my visit. The pharmacist whose name I believe was Troy could not have been more helpful. He contacted the doctors and my drug insurance plan and obtained a supply of all the drugs I needed within about three hours. I am forever in his debt! And the other multiple staff I interacted with in the pharmacy and checkout desk were also very polite and friendly. Kudos to the staff for their superior customer service!”

“This pharmacy has been great. Always have what I need in stock and usually fills same or next day. I’ve used the messaging feature to resolve issues in the past and it just works. Raghu is always helpful. I have mediocre insurance and he helped rerun it to cut the cost by a ton. Made the difference between not taking a new medication and actually giving it a shot. Lines can be long here at certain times but I feel like the new tablet check-in system is helping a bit. I’ve also gotten several vaccinations here and it’s never been a hassle.”

“Great pharmacy besides the difficulty of getting someone on the phone because of their automated system (dial 0 to the first automated voice prompt then another 0 after that to reach a person). They take OHP & GoodRX, all of the staff are Very helpful, if you need a prescription ready sooner they are usually able to accommodate your needs, they answer any questions you have and communicate very well with the prescribing physicians to solve any miscommunications or problems. In early 2024 they took on all of Rite Aid's customers but they handled it well and are back to working really efficiently just as before.”
