“Update: November 2025! I'm still going to Sherwood Auto Repair and if I can help it I will never take my vehicles anywhere else. Not only are they amazing at communicating on my level, Katie and Alden helped me understand that my partner's car needed a muffler mount replaced and that it made more sense to have it go to a specialty shop because it would be more cost effective! I am so impressed that I will continue to drive from Gresham to make sure that my cars are serviced right. Fours cars over the years and no one but Sherwood Auto Repair will be touching them unless they tell me to go to a specialty shop!
I've been bringing my cars to Sherwood Auto Repair for the last four years. I love their model. The very first day I brought the family mini-van in they asked me what my goals were for my vehicle. “Mike Noble is a master Mercedes mechanic who is 100% honest and an absolute joy work with. I cannot say enough good about the experience provided by Mike & Cindy at Noble Motors. I have an older Sprinter that needed driver door adjustment, slider door fix, and a general service. Mike did a terrific job with it while keeping my informed all through the process. He has a very deep knowledge of Mercedes, and is just one of those mechanics who knows 'the right way' to do a given job on a given Mercedes vehicle. A person only gets that by consistently working hard to do a good job today, and get a little better today. Mike is one of those folks, and he's been doing this for decades. Absolutely outstanding work from this shop and Russell and his team! Took my new Denali in to get looked at. While I was there, he added a performance muffler - I’m very particular about sound so he spent time showing me different mufflers and how they sounded before putting it on. He was patient, kind and his prices were great!

“Mike was absolutely a pleasure and legend to be able to talk to and work with. After being screwed over by unknown costs by other shops and screwy people running stores, Mike was honest, kind, and extremely straight forward with all of the work and they were going to do for with my car. As well as this I am a student and working a minimum wage job so getting a large sum of money is hard to come by, which Mike again was understanding and patient of my situation. Nonetheless great people, great work, these guys absolutely deserve all these five stars and compliments.”
“My clutch failed completely in my 2011 Ford Ranger on Monday. Another shop didn't want to deal with a major clutch job. They said I shouldn't look any further than The Bolts on Motors shop in Sherwood for the clutch work. As soon as I had my truck towed to the shop. Mary had the truck checked and the staff said "sure." They knew what to do within the hour.
An estimate was written up with a complete description explained to me. An appointment was set up for Wednesday and the work was completed by Thursday using all Ford parts. The price was very reasonable compared to my regular Ford dealership. I was surprised how smooth a properly working clutch shifted. The work came with a 12 months 12,000 mile warranty on parts and labor.
I would recommend Bolts on Motors completely. It is the "Go to Shop" people always seek out.”

“I called near closing time trying to locate a front axle for my 20 year old truck. His system said he had one and he would call me back once he verified it was actually available. He called me back after a while saying he had it and what price it was. I drove over three hours the next morning to pick it up. He had it out and ready for me to inspect when I arrived. Everything looked to be as stated so I paid and he loaded it up. All said and done I was in and out in probably less than 20 minutes. Absolutely amazing service. Highly recommend doing business here.”
