“If I can recommend any hotel in Cannon beach, it would be the Waves Motel!! My friend and I (18 & 19) visited in late May. The owners, Greg and Shannon, showed incredible hospitality to us. We checked in early and were able to leave our bags in the lobby, the location is prime location being a few steps away from the iconic beach where Haystack Rock is, and a short drive away from Ecola State Park. We had no car so the owners were nice enough to give us a ride to/from Ecola state park. Also huge kudos to the gentleman who drove us and was so kind! The rooms were cozy and perfect for a scenic view, very clean and perfect for our stay. It’s right in the little downtown of Cannon Beach, so we had access to stores+cafes+food with a few steps! Such an awesome stay and will totally be coming back. Thank you Waves Motel, Greg, Shannon, and workers for making our stay unforgettable🌊”

“This may be my favorite place I’ve ever stayed! After hours of driving in the car, we pulled up at sunset to the most magical scene. We walked up to the grassy bed filled with rabbits and the most beautiful sunset overlooking the beach and Haystack rock. It was amazing. The walk to haystack rock is less than 5 mins but the view is beautiful from the hotel. The room was immaculate and check in and parking was all a breeze! We stayed in studio 1A and it was small but just what we needed and even had a side view of the ocean with close and convenient parking. The staff was more than friendly and accommodating. They answered every email quickly and were super helpful and nice! I hope I can stay here again one day!!”

“Lovely property, well kept! Walking distance to the beach and a lovely coffee shop and dining spots. Great beach and family movie amenities; the breakfast had good options as well. Staff were friendly and provided all the necessary details to make the most of the amenities.”

“We've been to many multi-course fixed- price restaurants, and this one was fine, but overpriced for what it was. The wine list was nothing special. The dining room is a bit underwhelming - white tablecloths, but ordinary diner chairs, very plain decor, no candles or flowers, and a view of the parking lot. In short, it's somewhat lacking in ambiance. The food was tasty and well -prepared, but not especially creative or interesting. The service was attentive and friendly. I'm not sure why the chef came out to make a speech to the whole dining room about the meal that evening, since he pretty much read to us what had been printed on the menu. All in all, I'm not complaining, but this is not a restaurant I would recommend to my foodie friends.”

“The McBee Cottages are so charming, and their proximity to the beach can’t be beat! We loved having a kitchenette to make breakfast in and a living space to hang out together in. We have also stayed before at the Courtyard in the past and have always had a great experience with CBHC because of their professional and responsive staff and lovely and comfortable rooms.”

“Great location and cozy feeling for a good price.

Great location. Only a couple blocks from the beach. Off the main road. Was quiet. Bed was comfortable and shower had quick go water. Many many towels onsite. Recently painted.
Good communal grassy space for nighttime dog outings. Would recommend. Price was very good.”
