“Weekend get away, room was quaint but had everything we needed, dishes, cups, silverware, just down the stairs on the beach walk up Haystack, it was great, on the way up there, they called us to let us know our room was available for early check in. Had our code to go right into room and hit the beach. Loved it”
“The dining experience was awesome. Service was great and the food was top notch. We went early thinking we could have a drink at the bar, but they don't have a traditional bar which was fine. You can order via the telephone to the restaurant and they will add it to your bill. My one complaint was the women at the front desk was not very helpful in explaining the process. All we got was just call in your order. We finally figured it out with the help of nice young man. If you are in the Cannon Beach area and want a great dinner I highly recommend.”

“We stayed here in August. We were four plus a medium sized dog. The staff was very courteous and helpful. There were lots of neat amenities like access to the local gym, yoga studio, beach umbrellas and chairs, movies, root beer float night and probably more that I'm missing. The only criticism I have is that the room we had was a bit small and there was no air conditioning.”
“The McBee Cottages are so charming, and their proximity to the beach can’t be beat! We loved having a kitchenette to make breakfast in and a living space to hang out together in. We have also stayed before at the Courtyard in the past and have always had a great experience with CBHC because of their professional and responsive staff and lovely and comfortable rooms.”
“This place is perfect for 2 or 3 people. Easy walk to the beach, stores, and there are elk wandering the neighborhood. We loved it! Yes it needs maintenance, but its priced right for what you receive. We will definitely come back again to unit #4. With a little maintenance this complex could be a 5 star facility! All the negative reviews have been corrected that I could see. I absolutely love the fountain, frogs,and community bbq. We made friends with half the units in the complex. Very relaxing vibe to this dated place. I cant wait to come back!”

“We have stayed her twice now and love the location right on the North part of Cannon Beach! Staff are all friendly and helpful. While we have not been able to stay in the Flagship rooms (they are booked well in advance) which are right on the beach, we have stayed in the Southwind King Studio (which overlook the beach and ocean) and the Garden Court Room. All rooms are clean but some of the rooms could use some updating. You can't beat the location as you are directly on the beach and also close to all dining and shopping within Cannon Beach. We have enjoyed our stays at The Waves both times and when we visit Cannon Beach again, we will not hesitate to stay here again.”
