“Most unfortunately as we were traveling through Oregon in late June, 2003 we had a serpentine belt/mechanical issue with our Mercedes Sprinter RV and, after calling AAA, Bill was assigned and came to our rescue in as timely manner as possible for a long haul to a dealership. He presented as MOST knowledgeable, professional, personable, and client-focused. He made us feel as comfortable and secure as possible during the ordeal. It is good to know that during an emergency on the highway we have this high a caliber of individual in the towing trade to provide the service necessary to address almost any towing issue. Our best to him, his family, and his business! We HIGHLY recommend his business!Brian and Margo”

“One of the most honest, genuine, straight shooters I've had the pleasure of doing business with in a long time. Went out of his way, after hours, to pull my vehicle from a dangerous spot to safety. Thank you so much!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bill’s Tire Towing & Auto truly deserves the highest possible recommendation.

After nearly 900 miles of driving in heavy rain, my son’s vehicle struck a traffic cone that had been left on the freeway. The impact damaged the radiator, leaving the car completely disabled. This happened late at night—around 1:00 a.m. on a cold, dark, rainy Sunday—in a remote, wooded area of Oregon. To make matters worse, I was already about 100 miles north in Eugene with my wife and our two young children, while my son was stranded alone.

In a situation like that, stress levels are high and options are limited. I started calling towing companies and was shocked by what I was quoted. One company asked $385 just to tow the vehicle about 10 miles to the nearest town, Canyonville, and said it could take one to two hours to arrive. Another company quoted an unbelievable $1,800.

Then I found Bill’s Tire Towing & Auto. They are open 24/7, and Mike, the owner, answered the call. Not only did he respond quickly, but he charged just $150 for the tow. Given the circumstances, that price felt almost unreal. There was absolutely no attempt to take advantage of an emergency situation—something that sadly happens far too often.

What made the experience even more special was seeing how much this is a family business. Mike, his family, and his son were all involved, working together with genuine care and professionalism. You could immediately tell this wasn’t just a job for them—it was about helping people.

The next morning, Mike and his team went above and beyond by repairing the vehicle. It was a temporary fix, which I fully approved, but it was done carefully and honestly. Thanks to their work, we were able to drive another 500 miles all the way to Vancouver, Canada, where our mechanic replaced the radiator properly.

In a moment where everything could have gone very wrong, Mike and his team turned a stressful and potentially dangerous situation into a positive experience. Mike is a truly exceptional human being, and his staff—especially his son—were incredibly helpful and kind throughout the entire process.

If you ever find yourself in need of towing or auto help in southern Oregon, especially in an emergency, Bill’s Tire Towing & Auto is the place you want to call. Honest, fair, compassionate, and professional—this kind of service is rare.

Thank you again, Mike and team! We will never forget what you did for us.”
