The Carlton Inn Bed & Breakfast is a quaint, cozy, and intimate inn. The rooms are lovely, comfortable, pleasant, quiet, charming, large, and beautifully decorated. Guests describe a wonderful and super experience, with many calling it one of the best B&Bs they have ever stayed at.
The owners are absolutely the best, the nicest people, amicable, hospitable, and a delight. They provide the absolute best care, with thoughtful extra touches that are much appreciated. Breakfast is delicious, good, wonderful, and terrific, with meals that are a highlight and set guests up well for the day.
The inn’s location is perfect and great. It is within walking distance of several restaurants, cafes, wine tasting rooms, a bakery, and a distillery in downtown Carlton. It is a quick drive from McMinnville and provides easy access to the many local wineries and vineyards of the Willamette Valley, perfect for planning a trip to the wine country area. It is also a drive of just over an hour to the coast. The location is very safe and quiet, ideal for an intimate vacation or a quick getaway.
What a wonderful find! Beautiful, colorful house and delightful rooms. A fantastic breakfast was served by our Dutch host; we love her! It was wonderful to speak some Dutch and Afrikaans. We hope to visit again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
