“I was pleased to see ? this store pretty ? well stocked up. I rode over here from Mr. PETRO on my CREW BMX BIKE, to get food items because some of the restaurants are Too High at the truck stops. I have delivered to Dollar Tree ? and Family Dollar on the East Coast which I will be doing this MAY 2023.”
“Stopped at this Dollar Tree on the way out of town and was pleasantly surprised! The staff were super friendly and helpful, which always makes a big difference. The store was well-stocked, tidy, and easy to navigate way better than some locations I’ve visited. The bathroom was unfortunately pretty gross, which was the only real downside of the stop.
That said, the location is perfect it’s right where you leave town heading between Medford and Klamath Falls. It’s a super convenient place to pull off the highway, grab a few essentials, stretch your legs, and even grab a bite to eat since it's right near coffee shops and restaurants. A great pit stop overall just hope they deep-clean that restroom soon!”
“A Lady named Mary was very quick and careful to help clean up a glass jar of baby food I dropped by accident at the self check out today. Great customer service and was very kind.”
“The and only true reason I consistently go to Dollar Tree are the soft frozen Minute Maid desserts... The only delicious ? ? addiction I allow myself to have even on a diet.”
“Decent dollar store, though this location does not have refrigerator or freezer, so items they can carry are limited. Service is always quick & friendly here.”
“I'm in my 5th year living one mile south of Gold Hill and Dollar General has always been here. When I went in to Post Office to change my address the clerk started telling me about how to shop for groceries in the town while customers in line chimed in. They all said mainly. . .go to Dollar General! There's no fresh produce or meat aside from lunch meats. However they offer some frozen meats. You can't beat the prices. Eggs, milk, cheeses, pizza, micro dinners,O.J.s,sparkling waters, soda pops, beers, wine, baking supplies such as flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla, cakes, frosting,Arts & crafts, pet aisle, automotive dept, bath products from toilet paper to body washes, bath rugs,OTC products at health aisle, hygiene aisle, cigs, balloons,Ducks Ts,hats sweatshirt/pants, on & on. . .EXCELLENT, FUN yet EFFICIENT STAFF. . . !! Service is terrific. Need I say that I love to shop there after all this AND my 5 star rating?
I'd like to add: It's a shame to make them work until 10:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Unless they voted for it. That's ALL,except this. . .
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AT GOLD HILL DOLLAR GENERAL,
GOD BLESS YOU EACH ONE & ALL Carol Sanborn”
“I try to avoid large chain stores, though there is certainly a place for the dollar-type stores. This reminds me more of an old-fashioned five and dime, as they used to call them. It has a better variety than the dollar store because the price range is much wider. I try to frequent employee-owned stores such as BiMart, but, dang it, Dollar General is very close and convenient, and they do have a good selection of items, so I find myself there when heading in that direction. And, most especially, they accept my insurance's "OTC" card for vitamins, supplements, OTC meds, personal care items, etc., so I can go in there and spend nothing for aspirins, etc.! Also, their own brands (DG and Rexall, which they probably license) seem as good as major brands. As others have observed, the staff is always friendly, though the shelves are not organized all that well. So I somewhat reluctantly frequent it, but it turns out to be a convenient and handy store.”
“They're always friendly. Even when they're rushing around trying to stock shelves while helping customers. I've never seen the employees -not working- and I respect that.”
“Update: The prices have gone up to $1.25 and now some items are $1.75 and higher! I am not sure they can compete if they keep their prices, but it's a sign of the times. Some items are a value, some are not. This location is a little bigger than the smallest stores so they have some things those stores don't. Overall, it's worth checking out.”
