I never give bad reviews. This was my first time to Central Point Great Clips. I asked them to cut it to my collar bone and sadly walked out with a bob. The I hairdresser soaked my hair to cut it and wouldn’t dry it, claiming that is styling and it would be $40.00 more if they blow dried it. Another stylist came over and said yes she could dry it but not brush it. I was never handed a mirror to look at the back. This was the most bizarre hair cutting experience I have ever had.

I’m a low maintenance minimalist kinda girl and getting my haircut ranks pretty low on my list of favorite things. In Feb I went to a “fancy” place downtown Medford b/c the owner/stylist was self-proclaimed for being well-versed in working with fine & thinning hair. I just wanted to get my long scraggly damaged hair cut to a lob for a more manageable & clean look. She decided it was best to take a little off & keep my length & to come back if I wanted it short. I spent $120 for that cut, taking her advice since she was the “expert”… I left and really felt like there was no difference in my hair nor had she achieved my goals. My hair was still long, scraggly & flat… just a few inches shorter. Now it’s June, it’s hot, and my hair was the same. I opted to go where I use to go, Great Clips (though in Idaho, not yet here in Oregon). I knew what I wanted, told the stylist and she seemed very confident in knowing what to do. I didn’t care at this point, I just wanted this mess gone! When she was initially done, she had done exactly what I wanted & asked if I liked the back. She said she’d done point cutting on my ends (for texture), but could add in long layers for my movement & I agreed. I can’t tell you how refreshing it felt to have this haircut, how happy I was to finally be taken seriously about what I wanted, & to finally have the hair gone that made me feel insecure & frustrated every day! Kamala (I think was my stylist) from the bottom of my heart, thank you so very much🩵 I’m on cloud 9 with my new hairdo & will definitely come back!😊

Refused service due to closing in 5min. Two stylists no wait. The manager took my partner, the other refused to shave my head claiming she wasn't as fast as her coworker. It would have taken her 2mins to do my cut, but didn't want too nor did her manage correct her. All she cared about is that they close in five minutes even her manager didn't do anything just took my partner and actually cut his hair. Very bad service. I wouldn't want her to touch my head even if offered, she should work at another job that closes in 5min and doesn't do customwr service. I did ask for the district manager and she actually gave it to me. I did talk to him and he is the general manager and said he would look into it further. Nothing offered and stated it was unacceptable but that still didn't get my hair cut.

My hubby asked for a short haircut & got it buzzed off instead! I couldn't believe it when he came home & there was a random long piece on the top that I had to cut off.
NOT WORTH $23!!!!! - btw I'm sorry he tipped whoever messed his hair up, ya didn't deserve it!! (Won't make this mistake again that's for sure)

My boyfriend came in tonight for a haircut- he requested 1 inch on top and a medium skin fade on the sides.
Instead, the hairdresser used guard 1. Which means his hair is now 1/8inches long on the top. How do you fade a 1? You don’t. It doesn’t make sense. So why she did that after he asked for his specific haircut makes ZERO sense to me. He is nearly bald.
She didn’t even ask for clarification before going in straight on the top of his head with the razor.
If you’re gonna be a hairdresser, at least make sure you know what your clients want and can properly make it happen.

What a nightmare. Stylist was tired and kept complaining about being tired, I told her I wanted a layer style so that I could sweep my hair over my ears, shoulder length. She cut one side then the other side shorter, then tried to even it up. The layers are butchered and the back looks horrible!! Style I wanted on left. Chop I got.

I only go to Great Clips. I have been going there for many years and it’s very consistently pleasant. The haircut turned out just fine and I had great conversation with the hair stylist.

Got a men’s cut from Melissa while on a work trip this week. Very good haircut, knew exactly what she was doing and not too short which is always a problem for me. She was also very nice and super fast.
