“Was pleasantly surprised at the disparity between the price and the quality of the accommodations. It's nothing flashy but it's clean, tidy, and everything works. The gentleman at the front desk (I believe his name is Derek) was helpful and friendly despite the late hour we arrived. If you're traveling the coast and looking for an economical spot to stay the night, this one delivers.”
“We love this local casino! It's the best in the area. Good assortment of games and food inside. Always a blast for a short date, if you enjoy slots/gambling. They have great events they host regularly and the staff is always phenomenal! ❤️”
“Love plainview. Misty was very helpful and friendly. The room was fine and clean. only problem was the toilet ....you had to sit on it sideways because the wall was so close to it and my friend is a big man 6'3 285....he was very uncomfortable......other than that....well be back but we don't want room 8 ?”

“The Plank House provided excellent service, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu.When my friend’s pasta came out cooler than she’d prefer the manager was quick to recognize the issue and apologize. She promptly suggested a solution and even offered a complimentary dessert as a gesture of goodwill. My meal was perfect. The staff members were also quick to refill our drinks and check on us throughout the meal.”

“This place is disgusting, there rooms are not clean, had a horrible smell the bed is uncomfortable to say the least. The TV is so small you can't even watch a movie easily from the bed. The "water view" is just a ugly little channel it's not like a beach view or anything extravagant. The phone has check out at 11:30 printed on the info. Card yet they called up being rude at 11 telling us we were supposed to be out already. Fix your damn posted info. then. The curtain rod over the door was done by someone who has no idea how to install such or have any experience in finish work. I'd never go back and would tell people to go anywhere else in the future!”
“Had a great time and the manager was awesome she made things right for me when a employee put me in a room without a tub (I have a physical disability and can't stand in a shower) after I specifically reserved a room with a tub. She made right any other concerns I had! I'm excited with the effort she is putting into improving the motel for guests her name is Desiree and she's awesome I hope she sticks around because it's nice to meet such a kind manager at a place I frequent when I come to the coast ?Walkability: Quick walk across the road to the bay!!! Has a dog walking grass patch around the entire building...”
“The gal at the front desk was very nice and cheery. My king room was very clean and spacious. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The bed is very comfortable with soft pillows. Plenty of well lit parking and close to downtown where there are quite a few restaurants to choose from.”

“My family frequents this hotel when we come crab on the coast. They are very friendly and have great prices. The rooms may be a little out dated but you’re right on the ocean and I was hardly in my room. They allow pets in certain rooms and were very accommodating. We will always continue to use them.Nearby activities: OceanFood & drinks: Do not go to the Port House Restaurant next door!! Over priced, garbage food, rude employees. Waitress argued with us when speaking to a manager about up charging us and dumping a drink on my sibling.”
