If I could give them a ZERO. Zero customer service, Zero care. Wouldn't you think you work with animals you would be a caring person. Lack of zero compassion for dogs. Spoke to a female and she was so snotty...Excessive Barking? Why? What for? Well it has been going on for multi hours.. Can't tell if they dog has water. And oh yeah Dog speak through barking and every bark is different. I wouldn't just complain just off a bark. It's hot. Possibly no water or shade. Barking has slowed down. But still barking. Clackamas county do better. You never know what a dog is saying or going through. Check up and shut up.....

I was treated horribly from the beginning. I took a dog that came up in my driveway to them automatically I was accused of being some deviant that torture animals and then text them to the shelter somehow by the lead investigator I don't know how these people have continued to operate they shouldn't be able to treat people the way I was treated today they need to be investigated thoroughly themselves

I have been trying to get help for a dog in my apartment complex who continues to get attacked by another dog in her apartment. Police told me to contact this place since I have now had to break up multiple dog fights, for animals that aren't even mine, for people who don't care about the well being of their animals. This woman was so rude talking me, people that work here should be compassionate and understanding not rude and unhelpful. What a horrible experience, left me in tears after the call.

My last review was deleted probably on behalf of this organization despite getting a number of likes. They discriminate against families with children. Every dog I have seen on her for years has said no children or no children under a certain age. Despite that they will take you $10 fee.I went in here years ago and looked at a smaller older dog that was pretty chill and didn't say only for for children over a certain age. They had us come back and meet with someone. The dog and children got along but they lady that makes the decision had a bias against dogs going to ones with kids. She admitted she wouldn't place any dogs with my younger kids at the time. I have been looking at their site on and off for years and now all dogs have a no children under a certain age warning

This is the second dog we have adopted from CCDS and we couldn’t be more happy. Samuel Beans is the light of our lives! He is the sweetest, most well behaved little guy. I am so thankful that the technician directed our attention towards him rather than the extremely excited kelpie - Samuel Beans fits our lifestyle so well and I am so thankful that the technician recognized he would be a great fit for us. Literally BOTH dogs we have gotten from here have been SO sweet and so gentle and so loving and both times it was because the technicians took time to listen to us and our lifestyles and help us pick the perfect family member. Thank you!!! ♥️

RUDE … I have fostered dogs for 14 years, but some lady in the office just kept arguing with me I was wrong about certain things with new dogs in the home. It has never been my experience with any of my fosters and I was trying to tell her that.!!RUDE

Rude and unprofessional. They harassed my sister and left a nasty voicemail for her all because they couldn't be bothered to check their system properly. Such a waste of tax dollars and the additional fees charged to license a dog.

I am confused too why anybody would have bad things to say. ??? We had a wonderful experience adopting, a dog, and all the information that they provided ! they do a lot of work before they release a dog / pet They met us with our other dogs so we could walk in the back to meet the new dog . they have the best set up And the dr. Robertson the veterinarian who takes care of the animals like give some shot, worming, spay, and neutering and whatever else they may need The staff was very helped even though they were short staffed due to budget layoff and you could tell the staff that was left was well over work and hard to get a hold of the county should add back the staff they took away that's what's making it hard for the public to get a hold of them . I recommend adopting pets from them just be patient waiting for a phone call back or waiting for them to pick up the phone. They have a lot to do.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The women in the office that I dealt with was nothing but rude, I cannot believe my tax paying money goes for this person to even have a job. I would give it a mins 5 but that is not available. I have never been treated with such disrespect and a I dont give a shit attitude from a GOVERMENT funded agency in my life. REMEMBER PEOPLE WE PAY YOUR SALARY. Remove this facility they are nothing but a waste of money. THis is located on HWY 212.

Brenda was friendly, courteous, and helpful. She kindly helped us to renew Annie’s license and get a replacement for a lost tag. Brenda efficiently and quickly processed the paperwork and we were out within minutes. Thank you Brenda for your great customer service!

I found a dog, tried all day to find owners called multiple vet offices with name and a phone number on the tag. Posted on next door, pawboost, fb, tons of lost and found sites... I finally called ccds for next steps. They wanted me to surrender him while they looked for owners and I was told he would be rehomed in 5 days. I didnt feel the need for the dog to be locked in a kennel overnight so I declined surrendering him to give it a little more time on my own.An employee took it upon themselves to state on social media community pages that I had chose to not find owners and they wanted any Information on the dog to find the owners. That lead to me receiving multiple threats of bodily harm, and property damage if I didn't return the dog. I was literally driving gro. The vets office to scan for a chip and was going door to door looking for owners AND working with an employee while they researched the Information I had given them on my original phone call.So thanks, because I was trying g to do what was best for a lost dog, my reward was being treated with bodily harm, property damage, and my business was left 1 star reviews. What the heck is wrong with you?!

Just brought in a very sad case. I brought in a very neglected and wounded dog. Very caring staff greeted me at the entry and brought her directly in to see the vet. I just saw her picture and she is resting very comfortably and two pads. Genuine concern. Gratitude.

The staff is so warm and caring, our last rescue we adopted from them was so well taken care of, he had been there 3 separate times, and we were able to adopt him until he crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Highly recommend!
