Went in yesterday, Black Friday, to Home Goods, so there were a lot of shoppers (for such a small space). I went in with two intentions: 1. I wanted to find out more information on the navy blue swivel and rocker chair. I.E. if I buy it, how do I get it transported from Clackamas to my home in Happy Valley? 2. I was looking for a certain kind of chocolate, which a clerk helped me find.
Well, getting back to the chair, the line was not long at all, so when it was my turn, I asked about how furniture is transported. The answer: I would need to call a third party entity. and for a fee, this third party could transport the chair. Or, I could rent a U-Haul to do it myself. It seems to me the store has signs advertising free furniture delivery. Long story long, I walked out of the store not wanting the chair after all. They just saved me $500.00. Good job, Home Goods! Enjoy your Black Friday weekend, everyone.

I do my christmas shopping there. Great products, staff very helpful and friendly usually, last night the young girl didn't get her name was rude and frankly shouldnt.be in customer service. Wouldn't wrap the glass items properly and tried to shove over 200 dollars or glass items in one bag when I asked if she could please wrap and put in more bags she informed me they cost 5 cents each....ya think if I'm spending over 200 on items I really don't care hos much the extra bags cost.

I went in there today to return two nightstands The cashier Viviana was very nice and very helpful and I think ADDY was the manager also very nice and polite and helpful. Super nice crew. I always come in here and they always take care of their customers.

Of the various "TJ" / "For Less" stores we like Homegoods the best.
This location is as nice as the other locations around PDX, somewhat impressive since the neighborhood is so so.
