Hubby, daughter and I came here looking for beanies for our heads but none that we liked or fit our head. We only picked up a few things but the lady at the cashier said if we spend $50 we get $10 off. Hubby spent $76 and didn't get the $10 off discount. I give props to the lady with dreads who tried to give us a discount. We still didn't get the $10 off and the lady apologized but still. It's part of Macy's. Such a negative. Hubby even used his Macy's credit card. Good products here though from clothing to makeup and accessories. It's a very small store. Just an average experience.

Where do I go to review the wonderful experience I had a Macy's today in the cosmetic department? I approached the Clinique counter and met a wonderful helpful woman named Laura. Im trying to get back into the work force after trying retirement. Laura is about my age and she helped my choose some products that were perfect for me. i went home home and did a dress rehearsal for my interview with the products she picked. I look amazing and am ready for my interview. Thank you Laura!

Very nice store and the staff was very nice and not overwhelming but let us know if we needed any help they were available. We appreciated that they gave us space to browse the store on our own without constantly asking if we need help although they made sure that we were informed if we needed anything to just ask. That's exactly how we like to shop without someone constantly over our shoulders and asking the same thing over and over again. We will definitely recommend it to friends and family in the future!

I spent over $10,000 in just jewelry over the holidays. The staff was completely uneducated, which I will forgive because everyone is short staffed and looking for employees, however, I needed my rings sized and it's been almost 12 weeks and they are not back yet. I got some back but they didn't fit. I haven't gotten my certificates of authenticity in the mail yet, they lost one of my pieces, and charged me multiple times fir the same item. I call the CC division and got rerouted to every department within Macys. Everyone promised to fix the issue but it still isn't resolved from November 20. I lost hundreds of star rewards and still it hasn't been rectified. I'm beyond frustrated and only shop there because of the perks which I was robbed of anyway. I wish Nordstrom was still here!

Now that Lloyd Center Macy's has closed, I have to drive to Clackamas or Washington Square for my Macy's fix. When they were located across from my gym, this was a once a week occurrence! But now that I have to make a deliberate trip, I only shop here a few times a year. Typically I'm here for clothing and I go with no intent; I like to peruse the different departments to check out new styles and the in season colors. My favorite department is Inc which stands for International Concepts, a Macy's brand. This line always has fashion forward items but at prices that don't break the bank. I have several maxi dresses, cardigans with silver grommets, their curvy jeans which fit snug in the waist but have room everywhere else, and sweaters and fun summer tops. Love and wear them all! Rarely do I pay full price, no need since there are sales all the time! On everything! Just picked up a cashmere poncho from Charter Club for $79 with an original price of $249. I saw it early in the season and patiently waited until it hit the price I wanted to pay. I felt confident to wait it out since I've bought one ever year for the past three years in different colors and patterns. Great way to build my wardrobe With these lightweight but warm wraps and ponchos. For real bargains head to the Backstage area or Last Call. Backstage items are definitely lower quality and we're never actually out on the main floor. However that is not the case with Last Call. This is where items from the main floor go when they are priced to sell. Over the years I've scored pants and jeans for under $10; athletic tops and leggings for $8; INC brand items for $12. It takes time to push through the many racks that are jammed with clothing. Plus it gets messy over there! But if I'm caffeinated and have the time and patience, I play my luck and rarely walk away without a find. Macy's always has a great selection of handbags both designer and fashion affordable. Also love the fashion jewelry; they always have fun and classic pieces to take an outfit to that next level.. I'm a s***** for dangly earrings and they have a fabulous selection. The shoe department always has a broad selection of styles and brands. They carry Naturalizer, Easy Spirit, Michael Kors, Uggs, Bearpaws and lots of other name brands. Wait for the sales especially one that deducts 30% if you buy three pairs. See why I used to frequent Macy's all the time? Now that the location across from my gym closed, I am saving a lot of money! No impulse purchases or shopping on stressful days! But today's visit to the Clackamas Macy's did make me wish for those days again.

We were at Macy's Clackmas Town Center last week. The store was a mess, in the middle of the day! There was merchandies on the floor, package of panty hose opened and left out. I could not find any clothes that would even make me slow down much less buy. That has been the case for a long time. your mechandies has done nothing but gone down hill since Macy's took over Meier and Frank. I saw no employees in most of the store. You wonder why you are not making enogh money? Clean up the store and hire some employees, carry better merchandie. Do not blame all of this on COVID. Macy's has not had enough staff in years. If you can not find people to work there try paying a living wage with benefits. Make sure they get their breaks.

I'm standing in line. A long line w a single staff member at the register. It's going to be awhile. I was on lingerie but the register there was closed, w sign to go to plus department. The plus department register was closed, too, w sign saying to go to the register at men's suits. So here I stand. And stand and stand. Not trying this again soon.

It seems all Macy's have bad service now. It must be a corporate-wide training deficiency. Workers are on their phones, when you approach them the tone of their voice sounds pissed off (hello, I'm giving your employer money so you can have a job. You better be happy to see me). I had a specific event happen yesterday where I found a necklace I absolutely wanted to purchase, but it did not have a tag on it. I found one in another color and brought it to the check out stand to ease the process. The girl at the check out (named Liza) couldn't get it to ring up. She asked a superior and the superior told her to go to jewelry and ask. She goes to the jewelry department for 40 minutes and then comes back saying "the line is too long." Is this girl stupid? Or just lazy? Find a solution. If the line is long, you are an employee. You go to the front of the line and ask an employee. Charge me a price so I can give you my money. The necklace was $50 at Macy's, but because she wouldn't ring it up and sell it to me, I paid $200 for it online at Nordstrom's and am not at all regretting my purchase from Nordstrom. I didn't have to deal with any incompetent staff, no one wasted 40 minutes of my life for nothing. Macy's needs to teach their employees to sell s*** off their shelves. I have money and am very willing to spend it. Learn how to take it from me. And it's not through an item. It's through motivated staff.

I'm not generally a Macy's fan and usually go elsewhere first. Many of the stores I find that the merchandise is disorganized and the staff stand behind a sales station only waiting to ring you up. This was not the case at this particular Macy's on this occasion. The store and racks appeared nice and orderly with the sizes where they should be. Also the gentleman who helped me in mens dress shirts, Jerry, was friendly and went above and beyond to try and locate a size they didn't have and when there was non went out on the floor to see if he could find something similar.

Trying to do a return, been standing in line at near Levi and no acknowledgment. Waiting patiently with my son. Obviously I'm in a hurry. I had my child running around looking for customer service running to service desk in the very back of the store just to look three times. Yo! Direct me somewhere anywhere to return this damn dress!

Business is not valued, will not return for purchase. The sales people give you misleading information and scam you to make purchase without you acknowledging it. They are very sneaky and disrespect you when you realize what they were trying to do and cancel the order. They treat you like a homeless when they don't make the sale! I am surprised how they even got their job as sales when they don't have basic respect or work ethics. I will make sure to inform people avoid shopping there, such waste of time and energy.

For my contemporary clothing for years now I've had a mad love for Macy's INC, or International Concepts line of clothing. I do occasionally stray to Calvin Klein or to DKNY, but by and large INC has everything I need. Their curvy fit jeans are always a perfect fit. They had some super cute tops for this summer and I found my constantly online buying something new for this summer. I did buy a couple of white jeans that totally didn't fit at all so I took a trip to the store. I was so glad I made the trip to the store because I found several things that I didn't see online. I found a beautiful maxi dress and a sharp white denim jacket from Michael Kors. You're probably thinking I only buy stuff with designer labels and that's just not true. I buy when things are on sale and having a Macy's card makes me privy to additional discounts. I haven't even gotten started on the shoes. Macy's had the best collection of sandals. I think I bought about 4 pair. A few went back to the store as they didn't fit properly but 4 were keepers. Yesterday I was invited to a high tea event at a lovely garden of one of my friends. My maxi dress was perfect attire for this occasion, but I needed a proper hat. Turns out I was about 10 minutes away from Macy's, so off I went. The hats were pretty much gone but there was a perfect, white, wide brimmed hat on clearance. It was my lucky day. One thing that I hate about shopping in store at Macy's is that it's really hard to find an open register. Once you do find the open register, the queue is usually 5 people long and only one person is working the register. Normally I would have just left the hat and walked out out. But the hat was critical to my ensemble so I waited for about 20 minutes for my turn. The poor cashier, you could tell she was really stressed out. She thanked me for my patience. I asked her if there were and additional coupons that we could apply to the purchase and she found one for an additional 20% off the already half priced hat. Cashiers are always willing to do this for you when asked. I thanked her for doing that and wished her a good day. My adventure at Macy's was through for the day. 2021 - Review #19

They didn't have anything good, & what they did have was a mess all over the floor.. You literally couldn't walk anywhere without walking over stuff just thrown on the floor. Ridiculous. Managers would be replaced if any of the jobs I've had looked that way..
