Went to the Clackamas Petco today for the first time. Super nice and helpful employees. Store was clean and had everything I needed.

This Petco no longer has a bathroom available for customers. Staff had no empathy & wouldn’t give a reason. Pretty annoying for customers that have to travel ~30 mins to shop.

I can’t tell you how much money I spend here and when I asked to use the restroom was told no by Lori it’s not for the public. I said I’m a customer and she said it’s not for public. Will now ONLY shop at chewy online.

Hi there! Don't sign up for Vital Care Premier unless you are committed for the whole years benefits! even if you sign up for monthly you may not cancel, you may only cancel the annual renewal. OR you must call and claim your pet died. OR change billing information.
I was an associate for one month and would sell these subscriptions to costumers with very little knowledge, and I find it frustrating that I can't cancel.. I was not trained accurately and I can only imagine the constant- in and out associates don't have enough knowledge of this either! beware what you're signing up for.

dr ben took amazing care of my dog. i felt he was very empathetic to both me and my pet for her surgery. thank you so much dr ben! the assistant and receptionist were so amazing too! 6/9/25

My hubby and I made a grooming appt for our dog at 10:15 am today. We got there around 9:45 and knew the store didn’t open until 10, so we waited in our car until 10:05. We’re pretty sure we were the first to arrive for grooming. When handing our dog over, the groomer told us they’re pretty busy so would take about 3 to 3.5 hours for grooming. We totally understand as it’s Sunday. We went running errands and got back around 1:45 pm as it’s past 3.5 hours and we hadn’t heard back from them. We also grew worried as we saw other dogs got groomed and checked out without a sign of our fur baby. When we came in and asked the two groomers there saying we just wanted to make sure our dog was ok, one of them replied “oh no worries, he’s still alive!!!” We both were shocked hearing that feeling they were not taking our concern seriously at all!! Sorry, but have you ever lost your pet? How could you joke around not even considering that??? They might have passed it as a joke or sarcasm, we would never know, but it made us very uncomfortable, offended, and upset. We also felt mistreated as we were the first to bring our dog to the store but like they took care of other dogs that came after, which explained other dogs got groomed and finished up before ours. We used to take our dog to Petco in Tualatin and it usually took 1-1.5 hours for a bath. Again we understand it’s Sunday and it’s busy but over 4 hours for a bath (plus, we were the first to arrive there) and the way staff responded to our concern is just outrageous!! Unfortunately after this unpleasant experience, we think we’re done doing business with Petco grooming services at this location.

Came in today in a rush and Petco team member Lily went out of their way to help me price check something + choose between products. I never write reviews, let alone for chain stores but Lily was so excellent that I wanted to make sure management etc knew so that they could be given appropriate kudos!

No carts. Was told they were being used. Literally just one being used. Either they were outside or they had none. A dozen people in line and didn’t bother calling for additional checkers. Just the worse customer service experience.

Long line without anybody calling for help when the help does come they're rude. Dead crickets all over the bathroom.
