I recently visited the location in Tualitan (left my review for the experience, it was great) and so I thought to try the Gresham location since it’s closer. I brought in 2 gently used Lululemon bras that were bought in the last year, a white North Face rain coat, and a pair of hardly used white Lululemon pants. What I was received for those items was not what I had in mind, I thought at least 40$?
Aside from that, the store was lacking in nice clothing. A lot of the stuff I tried on had zipper problems and it was a little bit unorganized. I will definitely keep to the Tualatin location.

I will not be shopping at Plato's Closet and I'm so unhappy about my experience there earlier today. I believe the girls there did not take my clothes due to my age and the way my partner and I were dressed. I am 46 and I think they maybe thought we were not good enough to take our clothes. The clothes I brought in were brands they accepted and clean and almost brand new. They took less than 5 minutes to go through 3 big bags of clothes and took 2 items. They said they buy teenage fasion and I brought in clothes from my 16 year old daughters closet. I read some other reviews and agree that the customer service is non-existent and the clothes are not even very nice. I'd rather shop at Goodwill because at least they are not judgemental little teenagers who are causing the store to lose business.

I wouldn't say we had a bad experience, but it wasn't great either. The store seems really dirty, all the racks were really full so it was hard to look at clothes. The employees weren't overly pleasant, they were borderline rude for really no reason.
However everything was very organized, priced decently well. We ended up just getting one thing and left.

the workers are always really mean and i never can tell why… they also seem to have some inappropriate conversations behind the counter to the point my partner and i decided to leave and not get anything lol try the vancouver one if you’re close enough!

This Platos Closet is a joke. They buy clothes from people, but only if you're wealthy, I guess. Don't bring Jordan's because even if they are in great shape for some reason, they claim they don't sell this brand well but have $100.00 pairs on their shelf. They look at you like you are below them and roll their eyes at you on your way out. But let the next person come in and buy everything they have no matter the brand names.

First off I went to sell 3 bags of clothes and mind you I went out to wait until they are finish just to come back and for them to have 1 and say all were worn out when they were in perfect condition and mind you most of their shoes weren’t in great condition compared to mine trying to lie to my face thinking I’m stupid thinking they looked through the bag when most were still tied up always giving looks I wouldn’t come here if you are going to sell because they sure do an awful job.

Plato's is a fun place to shop.. you know the thrill of the hunt... However, the clothes racks are so full and tight it's almost impossible to move the clothes along. I find myself walking away from that particular section rather than fight with the tangled hangers etc.
I was hoping to find men's work shirts but found none. Jewelry, and perfume would make a nice addition to this shop. Plato's Closet tends to be a bit pricey for used merchandise..

I didn't go in to buy anything This time normally I love buying from them but this visit I went in to sell some jeans and jackets. They looked though my items and didn't buy and of them. And told me it was cuz they where warn. There was no stans. Rips cuts. The inner and outer tags are still in really good condition for warn clothes. I'm very disappointed in this shop and don't think I'll be going back to this location
