Safeway is always great. The prices are certainly much higher now as anywhere else but you can still find good sales or deals on the app.

I love my local safeway. Their fresh custom-made deli sandwiches are good and great value. Always pleasant and nice staff.

The dude in the blue USS New Jersey hat who works at night needs a vacation or a raise. Zero customer service skills but probably overworked and lack of workers during evening shift to help out.

This store closes all self check out lanes 2 hours before they close. They have minimal staff working on closing shift and often have a security guard help ring customers up to speed the line. For a company that makes millions it seems crazy to have minimal staff on top of allowing lines to be 15 minutes long. I hope corporate sees this review and checks the stores cameras from 10- close the last couple months.

Wow, I have never been so rattled by a trip to the grocery store. I went to get in line with my (21) items (which I hadn’t counted at that point) and as I pulled up to multiple empty check lanes (there was also no one in line) I just noticed the sign that said there was a 15 item limit, I was deciding if I should just go to a check lane instead or ask the guy if it was ok to just use the lane since I figured I was slightly over, when he started screaming at me “MA’AM NO MORE THAN 15 ITEMS!!” so I apologized and got in a line, when I get to the cashier he asks how I am and I just jokingly said good except I just got scolded for having too many items for self check out to which he responds that the signs are in bold letters, why they made the policy, how the store runs better when they stick to the policy and when they might make exceptions to their rules, like a winter storm. It was all very condescending and rude. I’m not one to fight a store on their policies or throw a fit ever, but I was treated like I just had. I’ve never received such a tongue lashing over something so petty. Also on my way out I walked past the self check lines and I’m pretty sure all six were empty.

I recently shopped at Safeway and was extremely disappointed with my experience. First, the prices on the shelves didn’t match what was rung up at the register which seems like a common practice lateley. This kind of discrepancy is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about compliance with weights and measures regulations. I hope that the relevant authorities receive an anonymous phone call to investigate these misleading pricing practices. Additionally, the parking lot is a complete mess, making it difficult to find a spot and navigate through the chaos. It's clear that this location needs significant improvements both in terms of pricing accuracy and parking management. I'll be taking my business elsewhere until these issues are addressed.

Kele the “manager” is literally the foulest and rudest person I have ever encountered at a grocery store. Treating customers and employees like they are burdens. Whoever put that thing in a position of power needs to reevaluate their choices.

I paid for a pickup order and discovered several items missing when I got home. I requested a refund online and Safeway rejected it because they said I already requested the refund. Which I did not, I did not request a refund twice. Seriously Safeway, you want to lose a 25 year customer over $27 you owe me. Check your pickup orders before you leave to save a huge hassle

Purchased sushi. It was fresh and satisfying. I like the Safeway deli for the many options I have if I do not want to cook dinner.

I just had a bad experience at the Clackamas Safeway store again. It's obvious that Safeway doesn't care to satisfy Seniors and only caters to young people with
confusing apps and pricing policies. It felt great to delete the Safeway app from my phone. It's WinCo for me from now on!
