Your Stayton store sucks to shop at. I left a review on the stores website. If you look at the reviews that store has been having trouble for a while and management doesn't want to fix it. You need to get someone in there that cares.
My wife and I have had enough and will do our shopping in Albany or Salem, might even try Roth's in Stayton. Won't be shopping at Safeway in Albany or Salem.

The manager at the Safeway store in molalla Oregon is a great manager she's never people don't stand in line she's always friendly great customer service

Your store in Florence needs some help or something. While checking out like 4 employees came up asking me to complete the survey on the credit card machine. I was taken aback at how pushy they were about it. Then all of a sudden another employee came by and said "dont worry about it, but hit 10". By this point, I was so annoyed with what was going on, I bought a candy bar, just to get the review screen again and give a bad review.
The store in general was fine, but the checkout part was ridiculous

The cashiers of the 3 Corvallis OR Safeway stores grab the POS keypad and are answering or cancelliing the surveys.
I think that by allowing this, it is on the verge of fraud

EMPLOYEES WHO ANSWER THE PHONE DESERVE THE RAISES - Hi corporate customer service! I was on hold for 15+ minutes for option 8 (ironically called customer service) Gerardo answered option 6 in produce! Thanks for answering Gerardo. Apparently your store director is MIA today?? Maybe at another store?? This happens everytime I have called for customer service. It's unacceptable really.

To whom it may concern, I am writing to express my gratitude for a wonderful employee by the name of Laurie working at the Safeway on NE Hwy. 99, Vancouver, Salmon Creek area store. We paid for our items with a Visa, but I added a Chocolate bar, went to pay for it and realized neither my husband or myself had any cash on us and we weren't going to use the Visa for a candy bar. I went to put it back, and Laurie said "don't worry, I'll pay for it". I thanked her and said I would pay her back, but she replied, "no, just pay it forward". There truly are good people in the world and front-line employees are often invisible to management. So corporate Safeway, take care of your employees!

The fruits and vegetables are always, always, always full of mold.
Whenever I bring this up to an employee they tell me "it doesn't look that bad" and the manager has told be she "didn't look because they were fine this morning" meanwhile the box is caked in thick mold

Battleground safeway sucks. Tried to overcharged for deli meat. Price was 5.18 a lb. So I bought 2 lbs. They charge me over 13 dollars a pound. And Manger Did nothing to make it right and escalate the problem. So I told them to keep my groceries and left. I Drove to woodland safeway and bought the same thing for 5.00 a lb I spend over 1000 a month on food at safeway Won't ever buy from battle ground safeway again. I have reported the price gouging to the state.

I believe your digital coupons are VERY DISCRIMINATING , against the elder, people with flip phones, handicap, and those who don't use apps on there phone as they don't know how. I believe you should have it all on the rewards card as you had before, or why have the rewards card.

This morning at 7:20 am I went to pick up a few things at the Safeway at 25691 SE Stark Troutdale, OR 97060. I finished shopping and went to the self checkout to purchase my items. As I was scanning one of the employees long blonde haired woman came and stood in the aisle that proceeds to the self checkout and watched me scan my items as well as pay for them. As I was checking out a white lady on the other side of directly on the other side was checking out however the cashier paid her no mind . Now you tell me if this is not racial profiling this is not the only time I have witnessed this deplorable act. About a month and half ago I was in this same store shopping. As I walked into the store a houseless black woman asked me if I would assist her in buying a pack of cigarettes I said yes the young woman and myself headed into the store she had a wagon . As we were at the customer service desk I overheard two cashiers talking to a black man I’m assuming was the manager of loss prevention. The cashiers were upset that she came back into the store and the black man said she can come back into the store she didn’t steal anything. As I was paying for her cigarettes I saw one of the two cashiers scanning the young woman’s wagon trying to see in it. The cashier had just been told the young woman hadn’t stole anything.On a separate day I enter the store to do my grocery shopping I get in line and there’s the young black woman standing in front of me to pay for her items this time she has cart full of her belongings . She’s about to pay for her item s and here comes to uniformed police officers. As the young lady finish paying and heads out the store one of the police officers which is a woman walks up to the register and ask the cashier is she the one the cashier responds she has things in her cart that she doesn’t have a receipt for but I don’t believe she got it from here. The officers proceed to stop the young lady at the door asked her about her stuff evidently she has receipts and let her go. Please tell what I just witnessed and experienced myself. I have shopped at this Safeway got two years since moving into the neighborhood. All I want is to buy my groceries just like the White people and not be followed or stared down as if I’m stealing. I want to be treated like the human being that I am. From her on out I’m walking in camera up. I’m done with being treated with disrespect and disdain. Oh and by the way when I went back into the store this morning to address what I experienced I got told it wasn’t true and dealt with with sarcasm. Don’t let your self righteous employees get you sued.

Why is there only 1 cashier before noon in the North Portland Safeway store. There are employees standing around and the line for the 1 cashier had atleast 10 people waiting.I understand there is self checkout but it should be an option. I will only be going there to pick up prescriptions from now on. Deborah Grubbs

Just found out all the batter that safeway uses in the bakery is pre made and sent to them from a mishigan company to bake sounds like a oppertunity to hide a bunch of ingredientsThis is a order I placed last week for muffins and im just finding that they were out and had to order which made me very confused since I thought I was ordering fresh made pistachio muffinsThats false advertising wonder what else you hide from the public ?

The Safeway Division Office would never let Amber get me a job coach to get my job back when I got fired at the La Grande Safeway on July, 10, 2023 for threatening my coworker.
