We’ve been part of the Sunnyside KinderCare family for nearly seven years now, with four of our children growing and learning through their program—and we truly couldn’t be more grateful. While we’ve seen changes over the years in directors, teachers, and support staff, the one thing that has remained consistent is the genuine care, warmth, and involvement they bring to every child and family.
Anytime we’ve raised concerns or had feedback, it’s been met with professionalism, compassion, and a clear desire to improve and support—not just our children, but our entire family. They are committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment, and they truly follow through.
Even during the most uncertain times—like the height of COVID—KinderCare stayed incredibly communicative, flexible, and supportive. They go above and beyond, regularly hosting family events and creating a real sense of community. Every teacher knows our names and our kids’ names—it really does feel like an extension of home.
The KinderCare app is also amazing! It gives us real-time updates, daily notes, and adorable photos that let us feel connected to their day even when we can’t be there. It’s one of my favorite parts of pick-up time—scrolling through their little adventures.
To all the staff at Sunnyside KinderCare: thank you for everything. You’re doing an amazing job, and we’re forever thankful. We absolutely recommend Sunnyside to any family looking for a loving, dependable, and joyful place for their children to grow.

After transferring my daughter from the Orchards location, I cannot express how much I love Sunnyside KinderCare! I own a spa in Happy Valley, and out of all the locations we looked at, this was the one where I instantly felt the most comfortable. We've now been with Sunnyside for about a year and a half, and the experience has been nothing short of incredible.
From day one, the staff has been understanding and compassionate about my often chaotic life. As a single mom constantly juggling a million things, I can’t thank Jasmin and the entire team enough for their patience and support. They never judge me when I’m running late (which is all the time!)—instead, they’re always there with a warm smile and a helping hand.
The facility is always clean and welcoming, and the staff is absolutely amazing. I've built such genuine relationships with so many of the teachers. My daughter, Amelia, has been in KinderCare since she was 3 months old and is now 2. Watching her grow in such a nurturing, learning-focused environment has been beautiful. She’s incredibly advanced for her age, and I can tell how much the teachers care and prioritize each child's development. Every hour is thoughtfully planned, and they regularly host events that help parents stay connected and engaged.
Amelia is always so excited to go to school—she loves it here, and we especially adore Miss Deena! I genuinely look forward to the years ahead as she moves through the different classrooms.
To everyone at Sunnyside KinderCare: thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’ve become like family to us, and I appreciate everything you do more than words can say.

Our daughter began attending the Sunnyside KinderCare Infant class in October. The first day was met with lots of emotions from us, but all of the staff were so welcoming and made us feel comfortable knowing she would be cared for. Each day she is so excited to get dropped off and loves smiling at her teachers and friends as soon as we walk in. All of the teachers are so wonderful at making sure all of the children have their needs meet. We enjoy getting lots of pictures of her throughout the day smiling and enjoying her friends and teachers. I also love that we are informed about the curriculum and can follow up and talk to her with all that she is learning about.

I’ve had an infant and a toddler at this location since October and the staff has been incredible., I love being able to keep up with the kids day to day activities. All the teachers in my kids class are very good at communicating needs/wants as well as updates through the day. The entire staff has a fun and professional balance. Jasmine, the director is always ontop of replies and makes sure any concerns or issues are addressed in a timely manner.i was very nervous taking my infant and todddler back to daycare but they were welcoming and an easy adjustment for both kids.

Sunnyside KinderCare has been nothing short of incredible for me and my daughter! We toured many other centers before finally finding and immediately deciding on this center. There is so much care and consideration from everyone in the building, so much diversity, and so much fun! Jasmin and Cj do an amazing job at managing everything. Every teacher my daughter has had so far, and every teacher we've gotten to interact with have been absolutely wonderful. We adore our KinderCare family and are so grateful for all the hard work they put into taking care of not only mine, but every kiddo that attends!

About 15 years ago my now 20 year daughter was in KinderCare. I was impressed with them so I have now enrolled my 4 year old into the sunnyside KinderCare. Jasmin helped me get everything set up and I swear every time I’ve called with a question (which has been a lot) the phone has been answered every time. With the way the world is right now I have a lot of anxiety taking my little to new places and leaving her. This placed calmed my anxiety. They’re GREAT at communication, nothing is left untold. Her first day she fell 2 times while outside and I was notified via phone call. I very much appreciated this. This placed is 100% worth it. When I went to go pick her up (mind you this was her first time being away from her family for an entire day) she cried because she did NOT want to leave. Everyone was so welcoming and loving and gentle their interactions with all the kids was beautiful!!! Thank you so much for providing a safe environment for the littles to learn and grow!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

We have been a part of the center for almost a year now and I could not be happier with how things have been for our whole family.
Dad drops off everyday due to my work schedule and is always greeted with warmth and smiles from all!!
Our daughter loves coming to school and loves her teachers even more! She asks to see her school on the weekends, and if that doesn’t show this place is great, not sure what more you’re looking for.
The director has always treated our family with kindness and respect, and has treated my husband and I as equals. I’d vouch for this school 100x if needed.
As someone who has a Masters in early childhood education, and has taught preschool I highly recommend Sunnyside Kindercare!

*DO NOT TAKE YOUR INFANT OR TODDLER TO THIS SCHOOL.* The entire facility is a joke, & honestly our time would have been better spent watching paint dry than touring here. The only consistent thing is the incompetence & ignorance they exude. People of color, & fathers are definitely NOT WELCOME. The female director here is a complete NIGHTMARE. She PUSHES for single parent homes & will do her best to create a wedge between families. It’s uncomfortable for everyone & creates such an unhealthy atmosphere for the children. We had the displeasure of touring this “daycare” just for her to make it a point at every opportunity to NOT acknowledge me as a father. She would turn the computer away from me, intentionally left me off all paperwork, made it a point to make ZERO eye contact with me. & even have the audacity to message the mother of my child & ask her to return ALONE without me. If your goal is your child’s happiness & development, please send your child ANYWHERE BUT HERE.
*UPDATE*
Since this review, we’ve now been informed that we’ll be charged $250+ JUST FOR OUR TOUR, the director reached out to the mother of my child being aggressive, & the number posted in the comments keeps denying our calls. Again, PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE. Clearly we’re being targeted at this point.

Can't say enough wonderful things about the Sunnyside KinderCare program. They were able to squeeze us into a class a month after I started calling, as we were moving in from out of state. All the teachers seem to know my kiddo and are always looking out for him (he has frequent ear infections and is monitored for pain). They've always reached out whenever they have concerns, and make sure to thoroughly report any issues that the kids experience. We are so happy to continue with KinderCare for a few more years!

My 2 boys have been attending for about a year now. They have grown so much, learned so much and it's all thanks to the amazing teachers they have the opportunity to be taught by. Ms. Frankie truly puts her whole heart in teaching these kids and I love it. I'll be sad to see the boys transition in the fall. But we are also looking forward to new growth and new experiences as everyone else in the center are such as awesome!

We LOVE our Sunnyside Kindercare! I never thought that I would l enjoy sending my child to daycare but this center changed our minds almost immediately! First time mom and we started in the infant room. We have learned so much from the teachers and they were kind/patient while I was also figuring out the whole infant thing. They were totally in support of feeding her solids when we were ready and I find that’s rare in other daycares. We’re now in the toddler room and we’ve had such a good experience in this room too. All the staff are so welcoming, caring, and I’m so happy we found the perfect fit for our family!

Our little has gone here since about 7 months old. Initially communication was poor, but with new director and assistant director, it has really turned around.I can’t say you get the best impression from the outside of building, but once you get inside, the feeling is warm and welcoming. All the staff, teachers, aides, etc., all really want the best for the children in their care.Would recommend, don’t judge the book by it’s cover, nor the past.

Having our son attend both infant and toddler classes at Kindercare Sunnyside has been so helpful in my transition back to working full-time. They have an interactive app that shares daily updates (and fun photos) including activities, meals, sleep and diaper reports. Highly recommend for any parent looking for full time care, they'll be in good hands at Sunnyside Kindercare!

I am very happy with the teachers, management team, and support staff at the Sunnyside KinderCare. My son does so many fun, engaging, and enriching activities each day - plus he loves his teachers!
