My wife and I shop there a lot and one thing for sure we have noticed is that any time we've had a question or needed something checked for inventory they were right on it. On one occasion my wife tried to pay with the credit card but it was declined. They just said come back and take care of it later which we did with cash. They have Top Notch customer service!

Love this place! They don't necessarily have everything you're going to need for your whole shopping trip but they are great for those interesting products you'll want to serve at a party or for a special dinner. Their wine and beer selection is great and I've never been disappointed by a trader Joe's branded product. Staff is friendly and helpful and prices are pretty reasonable.

This is one of the best Trader Joe's in Portland because there is ample parking in their large parking lot, there is a dedicated entrance and exit for funnelling customers efficiently through the store, and there are a myriad of grocery and produce on the left side as you enter. The clerks always greet you upon entry and inquire if you need assistance whenever you look puzzled or seek a particular item. The store restroom is open to staff and customers, but you need to go through the double doors at the rear of the store to be directed to it. This Trader Joe's is setup similar to all other Trader Joe's with shelves of eclectic staples and unique seasonal items. I appreciate their layout because they store their shopping carts on one side of their entrance and on the opposite side of their exit. It is very ergonomic to grab a cart as you enter, and replace your cart as you exit, therefore preventing the Trader Joe's parking lot from being littered with orphaned shopping carts.

I buy everything here except for what I can get at my co-op. There is lots of parking and staff are quick to open up more registers if there are lines. Nothing negative to report!

Somehow I always have a good experience at Trader Joe's. Even though they have fewer registers than some of the other bigger grocery stores, I feel like I never have to wait very long when I'm in line at Trader Joes. And I know that those cashier's have to talk to a thousand all day asking them how is their day but they seemed genuinely interested when they do so and it always makes me leave feeling good. The store is always clean, the people in the aisles are always helpful, and I rarely see things out of stock, so it is pretty hard to leave disappointed. The parking is also plentiful so you don't have to walk very far to go out to your car.
