Everything good here but wish the parking spots were reserved by room numbers for folks with kids, etc

Let me start out with saying that we did enjoy our stay here. It was my wife and my two children under two. The price we paid was very reasonable specifically considering that breakfast is included and it's a hot breakfast, not just cereal and yogurt while the hot breakfast isn't necessarily high quality. It was definitely a bonus add-on and helped save us plenty of money not having to worry about one of our three meals for the day. It also allowed us to really get full and therefore not have to be in a rush to eat the next meal. The location of this hotel is really top notch. It has multiple entrances to enter into an abundance of parking places, so even when they are busy there's still plenty of places to park. It's also centrally located right off of highway 101 right before the main boardwalk area of coos Bay. So location wise it's great. It's not far away. It's not a separator or isolated making it extremely walkable many things such as restaurants, cafes and shopping. That doesn't mean this place is perfect and no hotel is. Some of the things that could have been approved was definitely cleanliness. While nothing was overly disgusting or dirty, it truly wasn't all that clean. The staff fair was friendly, but they really didn't seem like they were interested in helping you and they weren't necessarily friendly looking. They did always provide a smile at the end work in genial to talk to and were able to provide all of the things that I needed. As far as toy trees that I forgot extra towels and the like one major flaw of this is that while it is advertised to have an indoor swimming pool, there's no indoor access to get to the swimming pool. Every room here is facing the outside and there's no central lobby or anything like that that we would be walking through. So when you're going to the pool you're going to be in your swimsuit and when you leave the pole you're going to be soaking wet walking out to go back to your room. This was a huge killing point for me as one of the main reasons I booked this hotel was to have an indoor swimming pool area which the way it's advertised is actually rather deceptive
I stayed in room 299 which was a two queen bed room that also had a kitchen. I've never knew a hotel that had kitchens in their rooms, but this was truly an awesome feature and definitely made my stay for far more accommodating considering that I had two adults and two children under 2 years old, having the extra room space as well as actually having counter space as well as having a full refrigerator and freezer really made this. Stay truly accommodating and far more of a great experience that I was expecting at a three-star hotel.
I know that if I'm working for a hotel, this is truly a reliable one and I may may end up staying here again in the future

Front desk one person was helpful and then another lady butted in and she was mouthy and combative. The room was terrible compared to other BW we have stayed in. More like a Motel 6. Small room, stained carpet and a huge spider 🕷 came out of the heating/air conditioner! We certainly won't be staying here again!!

The hot breakfast ran out of food, with many customers waiting, rooms were mediocre,
$250/ night was way beyond the quality

Great friendly staff always going above and beyond
Nearby activities: Hotel is a great location. The waterfront is right there with the boardwalk that you can walk all along the river. Lots of restaurants within walking distances shops other amenities parking access is great if you have a big vehicle or a trailer, they have a special lot easy to get around.

Disappointed that I paid $240 for this. Used this as a stop between Newport, OR and the Redwoods in CA. We should have kept driving and not stopped here.
Shower/tub was dirty, “hot breakfast” was a joke, and I was not asked how my stay was to comment on the issues upon check out.
This was my first stay at a Best Western and has been my last, I will never stay at one again.

The location was fine. Parking isn't for bigger vehicles, the shower was DIRTY long black hair all over it and on the bathroom floor when we got there. Beds were hard and uncomfortable woke up in pain. The pool was very cold for an indoor pool, and other guest were drinking and smoking by it. Will not be staying at this location again.
Rooms: Beds were very uncomfortable and Bathroom was DIRTY with long black hair all over the shower and floor.

This was probably one of the most run down best westerns we have ever stayed at. We cut our trip short here because it wasn't worth the amount we payed to stay here, at $270+ a night, this hotel needs a major upgrade!
The rooms smell musty, the carpet makes your feet black from walking on it, their was mold on the toilet and the bathroom door squeeked bad when opening and closing it. The beds are old and have springs, so every time you turn over while sleeping, you get a spring in your back or hip. The beds definitely need an upgrade!
Luckily we reserved a bottom floor room because there is no elevator here. The parking is very tight and feels up fast.
Saturday morning breakfast, the worker couldn't keep up with the restock fast enough and when asked for a restock of an item, she would get frustrated. The waffles were decent though if there was enough mix inside to make any. We watched the worker take out the old mix, set the part of the machine down on top of the garbage can, until she came back with new mix. Gross!!
The pool/hottub area is nice, but can get very loud and muggy inside.
Walking the beach or having kids play at the beach, isn't within walking distance, it's atleast a 20min drive way. Save yourself some money and stay at the casino just down the way....

Had a great room that was quiet. The staff always goes above and beyond to help their patrons.
