Misty was very rude when I called to ask about availability for a reservation request on Airbnb. “Moonlight Bay”
I don’t recommend staying here at all. The listing availability had shown as available but actually wasn’t, instead an offer was sent to book a condo for $100 more than the original posting. But more than that if asking about availability incites such an angry response I can’t imagine what other typical requests would provoke as a guest. Reading through the reviews and I can see that I’m not the only one who has had a bad experience with Misty. Maybe it’s time for a management change. You will continue to lose business when customers are treated like an annoyance.

While this motel is a little off the beaten path, its super cute! The room was nice and the beds were comfy. My nephew wanted to stay longer 😆. We did arrive late but the woman who checked us in was very kind about it and all we had to do was call her upon arrival. Thank you!

The Office manager allows drunk drivers to drive over 10mph through kids playing but than gets into other residents when they go 5mph
Fire her she gives the place a bad reputation. Will not be coming back until she is fired and will tell others not to come

Clean rooms. Good service. Not fancy but priced well. Honest workers called 2 say we left personal item. Ours had kitchette. Clean but basic. No coffee filters, bring a few with paper towels No ice machine here either. Due to the fact that the manager or owner says that they have ice upon request and that I did not notice they had bags of coffee that did not require filters I've changed my reading from 3 to 4 stars. Since the manager does read these reviews I will leave a small suggestion for improvement, pull out the stove and paint the side that's rusting. And secondly remove the tax in the wall or hang some ocean pictures or collectibles

The murals painted on the buildings are beautifully done, the room was clean and the kitchenette was great. The bed was comfortable and the location was perfect - a short drive from shore acres, cape arago and sunset bay and a short drive the other way was Coos Bay. I would definitely stay here again.

Please please keep looking. The front desk attendant was the rudest most agressive person I have had to deal with at a business EVER. Clearly more going on in her life that's not working well. But to take that out on myself and my wife that ran a business for 40 years and clearly know how to communicate with the public. She is not in her right mind I hate to say.

By far, the worst and sketchiest place I've ever stayed. The lady at check-in was nice and professional. We used the laundry room and it was pretty janky. The room had no a/c, the bathroom was tiny and the beds were horrible. You could feel the metal edging around the bed. It was very uncomfortable.
The people who stayed there were noisy and almost every rv there was run down and it left a very bad gut feeling. We took the path to the beach, and it was littered with filth. (I know, this is no fault of the motel... just a bit of info for potential travelers).

This place is perfect. 2 queen beds, a bathroom with the perfect shower...a half kitchen complete with a small fridge, sink, half stove and dishes... they have a coffee maker but we brought our own. I love this place. Gonna be back.

The first time I've ever paid for a stay and had to leave upon arrival knowing they would not refund my fee.
The photos portray a quaint motel with modern convenience.
THIS property has road traffic, a small window that looks out into an old trailer park, after a long day of driving we needed something more comfortable.
The rooms were small, the beds were bouncy.
Though the rooms are ground floor, there is a decent step up.
Very outdated, misrepresented and definitely overpriced.

We reserved the two story condo with a bay view. $200 a night. My only complaint is kitchen related. No ice trays , no spatula for frying ( I bought one to use) minimal utensils. Bring your own! I don’t remember seeing a cookie sheet.? No dish sponge and only 1 dishwasher pod. Won’t be back.

Look before you reserve a room here. The location is in a rough area. The view is misleading; there is no bay view at all !!! Our room was close to the road, and the noise was consistently loud all night long. To top it off, the service clerk was horrible to deal with
