Final update to Umpqua Bank post. After waiting for a replacement card from the bank since December 5th, 2022, I went to the bank yesterday and closed my account. After numerous attempts for them to tell me they didn't know what was going on, I had enough. Do I recommend Umpqua Bank to anyone? Not unless you prefer no 24/7 assistance and repeated attempts at getting replacement cards. No! I do not.

When my husband (Butch) & I came to live in Coos Bay it was to help & be near ourdaughter, son in law, & our three little granddaughters. They were the only people we knew here. After looking daily for a house to rent my daughter suggested that we go and talk to a lady that she had met at Umpqua Bank (Irene). She was the Loan Officer and turned out to be capable of changing our lives here in Oregon. She, & the Umpqua Bank were willing to give us the chance that no one before had ever done. We love our home and owe it all to Irene & the Umpqua Bank on Broadway.?Thank you again for the opportunity!

Recently wanted to get some foreign currency. Hunter & his supportive manager made it so easy. We've been with Umpqua Bank now for 3 1/2 years now and couldn't be happier. The staff are friendly & helpful.

Umpqua Bank allowed someone to steal more than $1500 from my account, with no notification. When I reported it, they "investigated" it and told me it was my fault for allowing PayPal to sign in automatically. Umpqua Bank basically handed the money over to a thief, and now I can't pay my bills.

I've been an Umpqua bank customer for years. This is the third town where I've been with Umpqua and normally I get excellent service. Today I went into this location to deposit my rent money and a jar of change. I asked an employee if there was a bathroom (my friend wasn't feeling well) and I she told me "No, we don't have a public restroom, this is a bank" in a very condescending manner like I was stupid to have thought there might be one. Very unprofessional.

Good bank as long as you never have to call customer service. Too long hold times and unhelpful reps.

Thank you Laura Craig for your help in refinancing our home. Laura worked very hard on my loan and helped me understand it all. She went out of her way to make sure everything worked out well. Great service! Thank you so much

They don't have an ATM that you can deposit at after business hours, forcing me to drive over to the North Bend branch to deposit my paycheck. Also, calling on the phone always results in a minimum 5minute hold before you get to talk to anyone. I have been on hold now for 10 minutes and counting this AM.

Of all the banks out there Umpqua has been the best one I've ever used. The free checking account is free as long as you do online statements instead of paper, no fee for not using my debit card, over draft protection, easy access to pay bills online, and per-warns everyone when there updating the server. The clerks are friendly and very helpful. Plus, fresh coffee is a bonus in my book. ;)
