The front desk was extremely kind and helpful. We left a belonging in our room after checkout and the staff made sure to hold onto it so we could come back and retrieve it. The room was nice and the area is quiet. The patch of grass for dogs was a great touch.

Lots of hairs in the bathroom (floor and baseboards) and the ceiling and walls have a fair amount of small dead bugs on them but toilet was nice and clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful and grounds are nice and well kept for the most part.
The price is what kills it. Not at all what should be expected for a $140+ (otd) room. Beds are ok, not comfortable, not springy or hard. Just note, rooms also have no a/c. It happened to be fine for us since it was cool at night.

This was such a lovely find! The rooms have fun little themes, and are super comfortable and well-stocked with anything you'd need. The front desk workers are friendly and professional. Free locally-baked muffins are available for breakfast too, which was nice. It's a small town but very safe and easy to access. Would stay again 100%!

We had a wonderful experience staying here. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was small but had everything we needed. I enjoyed sitting and reading in the gazebo while my husband napped. When he discovered he had left the charging cords for his phone and hearing aides at home the staff went out of their way to help. We would certainly stay again when visiting friends in Coquille.

Friendly staff willing to help you with any questions you have about the place or need figuring out how things work. Great location to waterfalls and ocean views. Cheaper than a coast spot and worth every cent.

Check I was friendly and easy, room was simple and clean.
When we booked we were nervous because it was a holiday weekend and they did but take payment over the phone.
When we arrived early just to make sure, they remembered my name and had a room ready.
Also discovered that the unassuming muffins they have available in the lobby are from a fantastic local bakery

Great stay. The building is old but they’ve taken really good care of it. The rooms were very clean and everything worked great. Friendly staff that let us leave our car there while we walked to breakfast even tho we already checked out. Also only 30 minutes to Bandon and the coast makes it a nice quiet launch point to the surrounding area.

I loved how accommodating the woman at the desk was, so late. I was exhausted, scared to be in a new place, and she came out to the window in the middle of the night, & accepted cash after closing her til. We only needed to be there a few hours, but boy oh boy was that room heaven to us. Coming from Southern NV. It was a shock to not have a noisy AC unit to put us to sleep, but a little spotify fake fan noise under my pillow and the windows cracked did us just fine!!! Also!! When I went to check out, I JUST missed the lady from just hours before, she had jury duty... lol poor woman. 😅 The gentleman at the desk was at a loss for my deposit. I said I'd wait. But I had already been late on my timeline. So pleasant, friendly. I was wandering the beautiful garden area when he came out and handed me my deposit, he contacted her and she told him where it was. This is a beautiful, quaint place. But the old school type we from the 80s and before all know and love. Respectful, old-school, and so appreciated by me!!! P.s. Squatch still doesn't take good pics even if you chill with him... ugh.

Friendly office, clean rooms
Overall great experience—I would stay here again. The lady in the front office was extremely kind and helpful. Our room was clean and well maintained. My only minor complaint was that there was a chemical smell in the room—like something used for cleaning. The grounds and parking lot were also clean and well maintained. We had a great stay!

Clean room, a lot dated but not bad. Everything worked but no a/c and ceiling fan was barely moving air…and it was 95 when we arrived. Cooled off late by about 1 am w all windows open. Need to add some fans or offer fans when it’s hot like that. Otherwise, good motel for what it cost.

Rooms: A very nicely decorated room with a coffee machine, microwave, and a table with two comfy chairs. Great hot shower!
The manager was super welcoming. She provided fresh coffee, oatmeal and the most delicious locally made muffins for breakfast.
