Great little place. It's separate from the main Safeway. What I like about it is that it's straight to the point it's just like a few items to buy and then the pharmacy but the main feature is the pharmacy instead of the store.
There are some weird symbols like inside by the logo of Safeway pharmacy that I'm not sure what they are. They look like male and female symbols but not. Maybe someone knows but I've been too embarrassed to just take a picture and use AI to tell me lol I'm going to figure it out later.
If I had to make a complaint it would be that some of these people take forever. I wish they had more lines open when I'm in there. But thankfully these days you could just play a game on your phone while waiting so it's not that bad.
I'm learning that Coquille is a bit slower of a town people take their time a little more. Which is fine, it's just that I have been living in Coos Bay for so long I was used to rushing.
The employees are nice and don't really say much. As someone with anxiety and stuff, it's so nice when people match your energy and if you're not talkative they don't talk. It's a rare thing these days, people love to just start bombarding you with information and that's what I like about this place that doesn't happen to me there.

Casey G. Was so polite and helpful. I was traveling and was worried I would run out of medication before I returned home. She took the time to call me regarding my insurance coverage and was able to get it to go thru so I did not have to pay out of pocket. So nice and friendly. Thank you

A small town pharmacy. Leave your impatience and attitude at the door. If you want big city service, you're in the wrong place. The nice employees do the best they can with what they have and I have never experienced an error in my meds (which imo is more important than how long the wait is).

The folks here work so hard to help thier patients. Many times my insurance or another complication has been anything but easy but they are always willing to go the extra mile. I'm very grateful for the team there. Thank you Salem, Casey and the rest of the team!

Never called to tell me an RX could not be filled. Was waiting for this medication for surgery. They are very slow.

The reason for 1 star is because I myself and family members have had nothing but issues with the staff at this pharmacy. The Manager at this pharmacy proceeded to tell one of my family members that if she used prescription card she would have to wait until the next, but if she were to pay cash the day the prescription was sent she would be able to pick up same day. This is ILLEGAL for them to withhold medication from anyone. I think this pharmacy needs to shut down or hire competent staff.

Definitely the most helpful and friendly staff I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. They really care about their customers and try so hard, despite Safeway’s shenanigans.

Tried to call but had to listen to a minute of flu vaccination information and then I had an option to talk to a staff member but no one ever picked up and I got a message that their mail box was full and if I needed to talk to anyone to call back.
