Good customer service. And my pork was packaged very well and very professional. The only off puting part was the location. I thought I was pulling in to a home initially which you kind of are. It's an easement for a shared property. Then you find a small butcher shop to the right of the home. I would go back and would use them as a butcher going forward. A very well run and managed business.

We just started raising beef to sell and fill our freezer. We dropped our first heifer off and everything was efficient and very clean. There was no stress for the animal or myself. The butcher walked me through all the cuts and was so kind with all my questions. At pick-up, everything was packaged tidy and clean. Meat was labeled well and brought out in crates to load up easy. I hope to continue bringing my cattle here for many years to come. He even complemented how we raised our girl and her quality of meat. Such a boost for starting out! Thank you

I cannot discount everyone else’s experience just offer my own. 😊
My first experience with a butcher so I had no clue how to order. It was a 1/2 a cow from a friend’s dairy. I called to do my order and they were busy so it took a few times to connect. Was the guy Dutch Bro friendly..no..but he was patient and knowledgeable. He did his job well helping me through the ordering process all while never making me feel stupid. When I picked up everyone was friendly and helpful without being over the top and fake.

Customer service was substandard compared to other butchers. I harvested my first deer this year and trying to ask a few basic questions to find the best butcher for me felt like pulling teeth. They seemed to have a clean operation going otherwise and some pepperoni i bought here was pretty good, just a shame their cutomer service stinks.
Other butchers were far easier to deal with so one of them will get my business instead.

They have prepared a half hog for our family for each of the last 3 years. We have been pleased with their service. Our family favorite is their Italian sausage - which we use as the base for our red sauce. Makes for a tasty and quick family dinner! The pork chops are delish too but I give our farmer friend credit for that! We love supporting our local family businesses and farmers.

I decided to try a different processor for my livestock this year. I should have read reviews before trust these people with my animals. In their reviews, many people have complained about not getting "their" meat back or not getting all of it back. When I got my meat back home, I noticed that some pieces were missing. When I called to ask if I had left some behind, they said those pieces "must have been bad". Then later blamed the mobile slaughter company, saying that they had not received them. They WILL steal your meat. Definitely going back to the Meating Place where they are friendly, fair and honest. If you choose to do business with Jacobsmuhlens meats, you have been warned.

One of the worst customer service I have ever received. The butcher on the phone was aggressively rude and not helpful at all. Multiple cuts were mislabeled. I would not recommend this place if you want an easy and pleasant experience. If there was an option to give this place a zero star i would do it.
