Because of the service, honesty, and knowledge/experience, I have to give him five stars. He was extremely helpful and stood behind his batteries. He reset my van’s electronics back to my settings and made a customer very happy.

Rolled up at 5pm yesterday, half an hour before closing. Jay was friendly and I was in and out with a new battery in ~10 minutes. I would definitely give them my business again and recommend them to others.

They replaced my battery. Then 3 days later my car wouldn't start. No lights no sounds nothing. So I had it towed to my mechanic who checked the alternator and the fuses for a draw. Turns out the negative cable was put on extra loose. Cost me another $245 on top of the battery.

I purchased a battery last August after they determined that I had drained my battery too deeply. He educated me about how to maintain a battery and not have this happen again. I appreciated that and the information was consistent with what I found online. I purchased a trickle charger which I have used on the new battery that he sold me whenever I might have left the lights on or whatever might drain the battery. I asked if there was a place in New Mexico that would honor the warranty on the battery and he gave me the name Continental Battery Systems in Albuquerque. The car was starting slow so I took it to my mechanic and they tested it and said I need a new battery. I called the place in Albuquerque and they say that they do not warranty batteries from Battery X-change. So I'm out of luck with a battery that died after less than a year, despite my having done all I could to keep it going, and I now live in New Mexico. Not a happy customer

Called in the day before for an appointment, immediately gave me a quote on the standard battery price. Went up the next day and he listed the other battery options and their prices, then fixed my battery immediately. Great service! 10/10 would go again

Jay Soules was great to work with. I was having an issue with my truck and he diagnosed the starter right away. He was very knowledgeable and even replaced some fuses that had blown due to the issue. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I will be a customer here in the future no doubt.

Excellent customer service. Jay came to my house and jump started my car, diagnosed it and then sent me on my way, reassured that my car was OK. Highly recommend him for any car battery needs!

Jay helped me find the right batteries to replace in my camper. He fot me sorted and helped me source what he didnt have in stock from another shop in Salem. When the Salem shop made an error on my order he helped correct the charge and refunded me. Really great customer service that went above and beyond getting us back on the road. Thanks again!

My partner and I had a problem with our Chevy Bolt EV today, and he took it to Battery XChange thinking he'd just be getting a 12 -v battery for it. It turns out that Jay has expertise that goes way beyond what we expected on how to test and fix our EV problem. He was amazing. We certainly know where to go in the future when we have any kind of battery problem.
