We recently hired Benson to install carpet in our new home. The staff were friendly and easy to work with from the initial visit through the end of the project. The installation team did a great job and their work showed professionalism and attention to detail. Would highly recommend Benson if you're considering a flooring project.

We've used Benson's for our flooring on a number of occasions, most recently when re-doing the carpeting in a bedroom. The process was easy every step of the way, from selecting the carpet through installation. We especially appreciated how accommodating Kristi was when it came to scheduling the installation.

I had kitchen countertops and backsplashes installed. The salesperson was patient and helpful as I navigated the required choices, and the workmanship and end result were solid. My mediocre rating is due wholly to the loutish behavior of the installer.
The salesperson told me it would be a two-day job, and that I should arrange for a plumber to install my new sink at the end of day 2, which was Wednesday. When I told the installer on Tuesday that I had done so, he shook his head and said, Try Friday. He eventually agreed to Thursday afternoon, and I scrambled to reschedule the plumber.
At the end of day 1, the installer left an absolute mess. He vacuumed the kitchen floor before he left, but there was sawdust on other surfaces in the kitchen and in parts of the adjacent living area, as well as in the air. There were literally piles of sawdust covering the top and the interior of the burners of my almost-new range, which he didn't think to cover with the drop cloth that was rolled up next to the range.
An expensive stereo speaker in the living area near the kitchen counter had been knocked over and replaced on its stand. The grill had come off and was lying on the floor, covered with sawdust. The company logo, which had been glued to the front of the speaker, was also on the floor. When I asked the installer about it the next morning, he said he didn't do it, it must have happened by itself (his words). I asked him to be more careful, and he rolled his eyes and said, Whatever.
He got a little less sloppy after day 2, possibly because I had complained to the salesperson, but we had basically stopped communicating by then. I should mention that he had the unnerving habit of talking to himself at full volume while he worked, making my living space uninhabitable while he was there.
My critical review is unusual here, maybe because other reviewers weren't doing countertop replacement. But I wanted to document this alarming and stressful experience with Benson's Interiors.

I have worked with Kristie from Benson’s on numerous home improvement projects. The most recent project was installing new pre finished hardwood on about 1700 square feet of my downstairs. Kristie was awesome during the entire process. The communication was fantastic, the workers exceptional and I love the finished project. Kristie goes above and beyond on the customer service side and makes process smooth from start to finish. I will continue using Benson’s for my home improvement needs.

From start to finish, the entire staff we worked with at Benson's Interiors were incredibly friendly, patient with us while we tested out many different samples of flooring, and super responsive in their communications with us as we planned out our new floor install.Kristi in sales was our superhero in helping us navigate the new (to us) world of flooring options, and all the ins-and-outs of working with our insurance company to know what to expect.Beth handled our billing and the multitude of samples we borrowed with great care and the utmost patience while we decided on our perfect flooring option.Jerah installed our new flooring with incredible attention to detail andgreat consideration for the flow of our home, all while being a wonderful person to get to know and chat with! He was a joy to work with, and being a family man himself, was incredibly sweet and patient with our 3yo daughter, listening to all her stories and show-and-tell adventures while he worked.We love our brand new floor, and can't thank Benson's enough for all their help!

I am so glad it occurred to me to call Benson Interiors when one of my blinds broke (not purchased through them). I called the original place first, which had assured me the first repair would be free, only to find they'd sold the company to people who don't do repairs. Then I tried others in Albany and even one in Salem. Benson Interiors had the blinds back, fully functional, in a couple days. And the cost was at the low end of the estimate. I couldn't be happier :-).

We spent over $20,000 on "battery operated and solar" curtains. They do not work. Benson Interiors came out many, many times and to this day we have one curtain that flew off its hinges and broke into pieces on the floor. Their installer threw a cigarette into our yard and caused a fire which the Yachats Fire Department had to put out. Not professional or reliable.

Quick, helpful and efficient staff. I called to inquire about repair service then brought my window blinds in for repair. The whole experience was good. Very thankful.

Ordered $20,000 worth of curtains which do not operate correctly. I ordered remote controlled shades. After they were installed only some would go up or down when given the command. For months many of the living room shades squeaked or failed to work. Six of them had to be replaced. This took months and many visits from Benson employees. The installer always showed up late and smoked on our wooded property (we had a fire which his cigarette may have caused). All around an expensive nightmare.

This is a late review. A few years ago I ordered beautiful tile for my backsplash. It came in four lengths. I selected the one that fit my needs and when it arrived, it was cut incorrectly. The salesperson said that happens when you order "custom". The length was advertised as an option. No offer was made to replace them and I paid extra to my contractor to cut them to the correct length. Was very disappointed in their response. They took no ownership for this mistake.

We are longtime customers of Benson's and recently ordered custom blinds for our French doors through them. They carry quality products at a range of price points and the staff is knowledgeable. We usually deal with Kristi, who has been there for a long time. About 10 years ago they put in beautiful stone tile flooring in our kitchen and we've loved it ever since. Every step of that project went smoothly. We're glad they are still going strong.

Found this place by mistake. We originally went to a store to look for blinds, but we wanted some for our skylights and we wanted them motorized. We were directed to a few dealers and landed at Benton's. Not only was the service great, but the install was smooth and Ed was clean and organized. The shades look great and we're meticulously installed. I would recommend them for any work you need.
