Furniture Share helps provide basic furniture to members of the community facing challenges, helping to make a house a home. They serve people leaving hostile situations, recovering from illness and addiction, or getting back on their feet after homelessness, many of whom have children. The support provides basic needs like a dining table, a dresser, and especially a bed, allowing parents to tuck their children into a bed.
The organization is known for its incredibly friendly and kind staff who genuinely care about their clients. The whole process from beginning to end is handled well, with clients kept in the loop for delivery. Workers are nice, careful, helpful, and handle items with care. They are attentive, polite, and work hard, showing they love their job and love helping people. The community work they do is greatly appreciated.
For donors, the experience is also positive, with efficient pickups arranged even when plans change. Pickup teams are communicative and careful with items and homes, ensuring donations quickly become a blessing for another family. It is a great experience from beginning to end, creating happy families.
I am so impressed with this organization. The Furniture Share is such an amazing asset to our community! They have a great thrift store, but what makes them truly special is their mission of providing free home furnishings to community members in need. A wonderful organization doing meaningful work!!
