Highly Recommended over all furniture stores. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have purchase two separate items here on two separate occasions and then asked for additional assistance when needed. A recliner - it's perfect, no issues, meets my need wonderfully and was at extremely low cost. I did comparative shopping first, and then decided on Chateau because they have the lowest prices. After I bought the recliner, Ed, Owner, and Robert, Assistant, of Chateau took the back off and loaded it for me and then Robert came to my office, lifted it up the stairs, and put it back together for me in my office. A gorgeous floor lamp (see attached photo) on which Ed gave me an amazing discount. I bought a boxed version of the lamp and when I had a bit of trouble assembling it due to disabled hands, Robert (again graciously) came to my office and completed the assembly for me. These men and this store go way above and beyond. They are utmost in service, courtesy, cost, beauty, comfort, and quality. Thank you Ed & Robert for such superior results. - Amber

We purchased a couch and mattress here -- they met our every need from purchase to pickup. We had a last minute emergency with our move and the owner wasted no time to help us out. They were also the only furniture store in the area not pressuring us to buy. Chateau is a gem, if you need furniture you owe it yourself to shop here before you go elsewhere.

What took me a second was the genuine costumer service by Ed. He allowed me to have my space and browse on my own for a shoe rack. Ge packed my furniture and made me move the car closer so that he could load it for me! He was extremely helpful and nice.He definitely has the best prices! I would definitely comeback.

Noticed the lower prices and all that. Really just wanted to support local business instead of online (even lower prices). We like what we did get and are happy so far, but will not continue shopping here any further. Unfortunately, the owner turned out to be a trickster who fronts a Christian background and perhaps there’s truth to that, but not an honest Christian for that matter. Who knows? Sucks that we thought we’d found a trustworthy local business to support. Maybe you won’t get tricked maybe you will. Tips when shopping here: watch your prices when checking out and keep alert. Chateau Home Furnishings is the ONLY place you should be going to get your furniture. The prices are incredible and the quality and selection is just the best. I spent far too long checking out bigger name stores in the Salem, Albany, and Corvallis areas not leaving a single one disappointed. Chateau blew them all away. No pressure owner on the sales floor who is friendly and helpful the entire time. I'm going back for ALL of my future furniture or mattress needs!
