I always bring my Miele here for servicing and repair. Very fair prices and fast service. I also got a very good deal on a Miele floor model that was like new and came with full warranty.
Support local businesses and buy your vacuum here vs online. The prices are the same, and you get much better service buying local.

I’ve purchased a few vacuums from Corvallis Sew & Vac with each experience being great. I’ve always been happy with my purchases..but if I wasn’t happy…I know they would do their best to make it so. It’s a true “old school” customer experience. Really great people!

Amazing customer service and the kindest people!
I brought in my 2019 Dyson because it was having suction issues. Craig walked me through all the service options, explained the costs clearly, and was genuinely happy to help. As I suspected, it needed a thorough cleaning—and it also turned out the filters needed replacing.
Craig and his team got my Dyson cleaned up, and now it “sucks” like new! I’m so happy with how well it’s working again, and the fantastic customer service made the experience even better.
I may not need a new vacuum right now, but when the time comes to upgrade, I know exactly where I’ll be going.
Thank you again!

My teen son is into embroidery and Craig has been a huge resource and guide for him. He helped him buy a better machine after I’d gone with an online purchase that ended up being a fail. He coached both of us in what to look for and found the perfect machine at the right price point for us. My son went to the store by himself today and I hear that he was welcomed like an old friend. To have another adult in the world outside of family and school who encourages your child is just everything. Combined with the knowledge Craig has, the shop is a great resource we are lucky to have it and Craig here in town.

I am the owner's daughter, so this review is of course biased, but i’ll do anything to let my dad know i love him. When I saw a review left by a dissatisfied customer, i immediately wished that this particular customer could sit down for coffee with Craig for a hour- no work pressure, no rat race, no annoyances that come with living the life of a human being- just Craig. they would leave the way that countless others have- changed for the better. The truth about Craig is that he will intentionally approach somebody he sees having a difficult time; offering encouragement, a little financial bump, or perhaps most dependably, his prayers. i know; i’ve seen him do these things my entire life.

The only reason I’m even giving 2 stars is because their employee whom I didn’t get the name of was helpful. She wasn’t the most knowledgeable but she did what she could. The owner, Craig, deserves 1 star though. I recommend going elsewhere just because of his sales practices.
I went to them because I wanted the SEBO Felix Onyx collection which you can only get at authorized dealers. The onyx collection extends the 7/7/5 warranty to 10/10/7 for free. You can easily check this online and I confirmed with sebo customer support that no additional purchase was required. Simply buy the vacuum and the dealer will provide a code to extend the warranty. I also just wanted to support local businesses.
They didn’t have the Felix onyx in stock when I went in so it had to be ordered. I paid and waited. Up to now, the experience had been fine. When I went to pick up the Felix, however, Craig was there to “help” me out. He informed me that it in fact didn’t come with the extended warranty. He said that if he had been there the day I had bought it, he would have upsold me on $200 of extra attachments and only then would include the extended warranty. At the time, I figured maybe I had been mistaken so I said as much and was ready to leave. Instead Craig gave me a condescending speech about how onyx is just a color scheme and how he was meeting with his sebo rep that night. He told me to let him know if he was wrong so that he could ask the rep. My girlfriend who was with me later confirmed that it wasn’t just me picking up on the condensation.
Upon getting home, I did a 5 second google search and was able to confirm that the extended warranty was free. To double check, I called sebo directly and they confirmed. All told it took me less than 5 minutes to figure out and I don’t even sell the products. I can also see on internet archives that this has been the case since at least March 2023. I called the store back and Craig begrudgingly gave me the code but not without lecturing me about how it would likely cost him money but since I expected it he would give it to me. I then asked how a manufacturer’s warranty would cost him money and he said sebo covers the parts but not the labor. To be clear, this is the opposite of what sebo claims. The 7 in 10/10/7 is specifically 7 years of labor. I’m not sure how the manufacturer wouldn’t cover the labor for warranty repairs that specifically cover labor.
Additionally, my brand new vacuum came with many scuff marks and a broken clip on the parquet head. At this point I don’t want to deal with them anymore so I’ll just try and fix the clip myself and buy a replacement if that doesn’t work. As for the scuffs, they would have happened eventually anyways so whatever. Just annoying for a product that cost as much as it did.
So in short, my impression is that they use people’s lack of knowledge to upsell them on accessories so they can get the extended warranty that should be provided for free. Craig specifically also seems like the type of person who would pressure someone into making a purchase under the guise of being helpful. It seems like a shady practice that will lead me to specifically recommend going anywhere else to my friends/family. This is only the second time in my entire life that I’ve had an experience so bad that I’d do that but this was truly maddening. If anything ever breaks, I’ll be sure to go to another dealership for repairs as well.

I don't think there's a better place in Benton County to buy or have work done on your vacuums or sewing machines.
My mom bought sewing machines and vacuum cleaners here and had them serviced for years. In fact, she actually bought me the Riccar I talk about below as a birthday present several years ago.
The folks here know what they're doing. They are kind, considerate, helpful, knowledgeable, and honest, and their customer service is 2nd to none!
I brought two two vacuums here about 4:30 this afternoon to see if I could get help with a yellow light glowing on one and a broken replacement belt on another.
I'd had difficulties with both my vacuums after they had been in storage for over 4 months when my house was torn apart and rebuilt after water damage. I love my Riccar, which I'd bought there years, so I was worried about the yellow light. The other one I had broken two belts in a short time with, but it was really good at picking up my dog hair. I have to say I headed into the store with a bit of trepidation.
The amazing gentleman who helped us, who owns who's name I'm ashamed to say I forgot, started with the Riccar. Which, of course, when he started it up, didn't show the yellow light. He checked it out and showed me a few things to check when using it. Then he also suggested I change the filter that looked in rather bad shape, which I concurred with.
While he went to do that, I got my other vacuum from the car and brought it into the store. When he returned with my Riccar, not only did it have a new filter, but he'd cleaned it all up as well. If vacuums could smile, I'm telling you mine sure was🙂!
He took one look at the broken belt and immediately knew what was wrong. It had either gotten pinched when I'd installed it or something got in the beater brush. He got a new belt flipped over the vacuum out in the main area right where we were. He checked the beater brush, said it was good, and started putting it all back together again for me.
We arrived towards the end of his day, but he took his time to help me out with both vacuums. Luckily, they were easy fixes, but he could have told me I just needed to leave them, and he could look at them tomorrow. Instead, he made me feel like my vacuums and I were more important than anything else at the moment. Isn't that the type of place you want to be part of, especially if you're into sewing.

I recently moved to Corvallis and was delighted to find Corvallis Sewing and Vacuum as I am a quilter, crafter and owner of a Miele vacuum. The staff is kind, friendly and very knowledgeable. The service I recently received on my Bernina 1001 is beyond my expectations. It now sews better than when I bought it 22 years ago. I didn’t know how much it needed tending to till I got it back! I wish there were another star to give on this review. Thank you for being here! Such a gift to our town.

When I took my serger into CS&V the machine ran smoothly, just didn't loop. I was told the shaft had too much play and it wasn't worth fixing. I took it to another shop and it was bound up and stuck! It was not that way when I took it to CS&V. My husband discovered the tech at CS&V had placed the cutter back upside-down and did not put other pieces back properly ? Husband fixed it back the way it had been. One last tech in Eugene could find no loose parts, said it was tight and found the problem was the needle plate...that was all!!! I will never go back to Corvallis sew and vac.put the serger back the way it was before taking it

Took a class there today and it was fabulous! I had so much fun l learning how to use my embroidery machine, we made a table runner, 4 napkins, and 4 napkin “rings” I walked away with a bunch of stuff and a lot of new knowledge! I highly recommend Corvallis Sew and Vac for all your sewing machine and vacuum needs (we bought a vacuum there last year!)
