I had the best experience in the Fred Meyer jewelry department. Abby was very helpful and knowledgeable for the short time she's been there. Thank you for an awesome purchasing experience.

This review is specifically for an employee at your store named Nik. I was in your store back in June visiting from California with my elderly mother for my son's graduation. We bought some groceries and as I went to put them in the car I noticed I was missing my keys to my rental car. I frantically looked in the store for an hour with no luck. Nik obviously saw I was distressed so helped me look for my keys. I swear we turned that store upside down. She miraculously found them - they were kicked under a display near the checkout stand. I was so grateful to her for her help - she's a gem!

When your pharmacy line regularly interferes with buying apples and the store doesn't take Apple Pay, that is when I quit going there. The store is about 10 blocks from my house but I'll go out of my way to shop at Winco.

They have better prices than Safeway, fresher produce, it's a bigger store than Safeway is so it makes it easier to get more variety and more space between people. I hate crowds anyway, far before the whole Covid craziness started, so this was always my first choice.

Fred Meyer has always been on the expensive side, but I shopped there in the past because they had some items that I couldn't find elsewhere and the had a decent organic dry goods and bulk section. Some time over the past couple of years they remodeled the store into a shopping disaster. The bulk section has been whittled down to practically nothing and now the organic dry goods are mixed in with the non-organic (soup for example). Plus they drastically decreased the range of those products. So now there are these looonnnng, narrow aisles with everything intermingled. No one that I have talked to thinks the new design is good. I now avoid this store almost entirely because it's very unpleasant to shop there. The two stars is only because they still carry Foster Farms chicken which is hard to find, so I go in for that and nothing else.

Had a terrible experience in the pharmacy today. The blond pony tailed tech actually shamed me for leaving after I expected to receive my eye drops but of course, it was not ready...is it ever? I left before it was filled so he acted like I personally insulted him. Hey pharmacy.....how do you like going by my timeline and not yours??? I wait, sometimes for days to pick up a med, am constantly asked to pick one up that I picked up WEEKS ago, and at times, you short me giving a disinterested reason like, "we didn't get the full amount in"....another words, who cares about you? I'm the patient who without me and others, keep you working? This place is disgusting, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Get another pharmacy, it's not worth the emotion to leave a review and above all, avoid Mr. Ponytail, he's a rude piece of work. Kings Blvd location, Corvallis Or

This used to be a decent chain but it's lost its way since becoming a Kroger property. Nothing like it was and very disappointing. Poor training for staff means poor customer service. Very young and inexperienced staff with zero people skills working the CS desk. Really a shame...

Love this Fred Meyer location for my one stop shop needs, but tonight was fantastic!S s/o Jennifer at the checkout- I believe the only one checking customers out right now. Her customer service was a breathe of fresh air & I look forward to seeing more of her bubbly personality in that store. Fred Meyers & this community need more folks like Jennifer.

Sure, their groceries are overpriced and their produce is old and soggy, but that's not the biggest drawback of all! Woe betide anyone who wants to use the PHARMACY. Just take a gander at this LINE! Maybe if they would pay these folks a DECENT WAGE they could reopen the pharmacy window or have sufficient staff to man the counters. It used to be only a couple of people in line, but now the cue passes past the donuts and into the rubbery chicken lane. Never seen anything like it. Stop being so cheap, management--hire some more damn staff!

I made the mistake of going into this store today, Veterans Day 2021. Experienced an absolute rude j*** of a checker, Jorge (living in mommy's basement type). This guy was psychologically "off", I actually had to request a manager to speak with to let her know how obnoxious this clerk was. His replacment wasn't much better; she had a snotty, condescending demeanor with a high pitched voice. Went home, thought about it, returned everything we bought to the tune of $90. As USAF veterans, we won't be back. Too much competition from far better stores like Bi-Mart, Safeway, Amazon. Kroger has hired some seriously rotten low hanging fruit from the local trailer parks.

Incredibly rude checker by the name of Jorge. A woman in front of us had a fit of histrionics because she thought we were standing too close to her. Both people behind us were totally unmasked, another employee (masked) was crowded up behind everybody in line as she was restocking the gums, mints, etc. Do you think the maladjusted woman in front of us said one word to any of them? Nope! This mentally disturbed "entitled" old witch went viral on us. Our turn finally comes to step up to the belt, and hystrionic Jorge states, "I don't feel comfortable waiting on you! I'm getting another checker!!" So I said to Jorge "Why?? But you had no problem with this rude woman turning around and having a melt down on us in public?! She didn't scream at anybody without masks or the shelf restocked who WAS CLOSER to everybody than we were to her??" We called over a manager, we explained we thought there was something "off" with Jorge and that we stated he was an even bigger idiot than the old woman in front of us. The store manager was extremely polite and apologetic and said he shouldn't have reacted that way. Sorry Fred Meyer, some of your staff are flat out jerks and should be fired for their lousy attitude and horrible customer service; seriously, low hanging fruit. We went home, thought about the bad service, brought everything back and returned every single item of our $90 dollar purchase. We explained to the Customer Service clerk why we were returning everything, and that guy never even acknowledged that he was sorry for the bad experience either and he never even said, "Would you like to speak with a Manager?" This company doesn't give two shtz about their lousy customer service, only about taking your money. We won't be back, products are cheaper on Amazon and are delivered right to the door, and as veterans we're treated better.

Went to look for Oregon state clothing but there was very limited selection. Found the groceries I needed though.

Two days in a row I've had to stand in the pharmacy line for over an hour. It's not the pharmacist's fault they're short staffed. However it is the young & d*** store manager's fault that things are priced wrong & shelves aren't organized correctly. Yesterday I bought two packages of tp which I was charged 7.49 a piece for when on the shelf it said they were on sale for 5.00 a piece. They fixed that transaction & then charged me 13.00 for the mascara I bought today. In the picture you'll see it's marked as 8.00. The manager said he can't sell me it at that price because it's labelled wrong. When I told him he needs to go fix the shelf then he said he'll let someone know.....if you're the manager you're the one who needs to know & do something about it. If you want to give yourself a huge headache & be charged more than the prices state, then by all means go to the Fred Meyers on Kings. I however will NOT be shopping here ever again!!!

This store has everything you need plus a lot more. First time in a FM store but was pleasantly surprised. Clean store, staff ok. Took me awhile to find the basics but that's only because I was blown away by everything they had in that store. Would shop here again.
