Love this place. It's like a scavenger hunt for treasure. Make sure to check dates though. The nature of these stores means lots of stuff is close to code. Doesn't matter too much with some things, but I avoid buying in bulk here.

Not a bad store, prices aren’t very much lower than other places unless you find a hidden gem. As for the staff, a few are really nice but got oddly harassed by another employee as I was checking out. Not a great experience

They have a restroom room but won’t let customers use it.
To me that seems very uncivilized.
If you don’t live in town and no establishments have restrooms what do you do?

The store has declined since the new ownership. An annoying factor every time I forget my bags, they charge 15 cents per paper bag, and strictly prohibit the use of left over shipping boxes for purchased groceries, that they otherwise break down or only allow for wine purchases. They cite shoplifting(??) as the reason. There are also not as many deals or bargains as before. Lots of items at standard market price. Hoping they’ll turn things around.
