I have been meaning to remove the last of a pedicure I got earlier this summer (but haven’t had time) and was driving down 9th street when I noticed this nail place that had its lights on with “walk-ins welcome” in the window.
Well, I only needed polish removed and they still promptly sat me down and had it done. No fuss, no wait. It was super affordable for a removal, no one tried to upsell me and everyone was super nice.
They charged me less than $10 for the removal which was awesome, I left a pretty good tip and quickly left to continue my day… planning to come back when I had the opportunity to sit and do a full pedicure again.
When the weather cools down and I’m in the area again with more time on my hands, I’m definitely coming back!

We made an appointment with them but when we showed up for the appointment they said they didn’t have anyone available until 2 1/2 hours later. Will not be returning there

I've received variable service. My last pedicure was one of the best I had. The pedicure I got this past week was one of the worst. The nail tech skipped steps and the polish job was messy, not to mention I got an infection in one of my toes. My last manicure at the beginning of June was very rushed. I had to file my nails to be even. The tech said she couldn't do it because her next client was there. I appreciate that they try to get people an appointment as soon as possible, but I'd rather wait to have a more positive experience if I knew it wouldn't be rushed. The manager is really nice and I genuinely want them to do well. I hope they can figure out a good balance between quantity and quality soon, and then I'll return.

Dani was absolutely terrible at nails and service. He was by far the worst and most disgusting business interaction I've ever had. I will never go back here and never have my nails done here. IF I COULD LEAVE 0 STARS. I WOULD.

I just got these done on Saturday 3/29 (2 days ago) and they already look like they need a fill soon. I’m local. Tried this place out on a recommendation and this was my second full set. First set they all broke off entirely after 3 weeks.
Friendly staff - but won’t be returning again.
To add: prices were vastly different as well.
First set: full set, French $45
Second set: full set, shiny polish $65.

I’m not one to write a bad review but my mom got her pedicure done at Modern Nails last week and it was absolutely horrific, they sent her out with her nails like this — Thank goodness she noticed before she left and they removed it (not repainted) They didn’t offer a refund, just a $30 credit to a new pedicure — She won’t be returning

The only place in town I trust to do my designs. Danny does amazing nail art and has been doing outstanding, consistent work on my nails since 2022. Peter is also very good at designs. If you like fancy nail designs and good pedicures this is the place to go.

Two stars because the nails came out cute. But the lady who did my nails was incredibly rude, no customer service at all. & they didn’t even clean any of the tables or chairs between clients. There was still trash from the previous client on the desk she did my nails on. Will not be returning.

I have been coming here for almost 20 years and at times traveled 2 hours one way! Prices are very reasonable and unlike most places, everything is included!: hot rocks, massage, deep scrub, machine file odd toenails, cheese grader scrape of nasty feet, etc! Owners are kind, sweet people as are all the employees. My girl is Hannah, and I absolutely love her and the job she does!

Best nail salon in Corvallis. I have tried at least half of the nail salons in Corvallis and this one is the best by far. Always call to make an appt! They are very busy even on weekdays. If you make an appt they seat you and start right away! I’ve been coming here consistently for 3 years. I love all of the nail techs but I also really like all one color for nails with minimal or no additional designs.

Wonderful experience! Michel did a very good job on my nails??He was friendly, and professional and made me very happy after a previous bad experience in another salon across the street. I will come back for sure. Ah! They also offered us a complimentary glass of white wine, which was very nice.

I have been coming to Modern Nails for 20 years and won't go anywhere else. They do an amazing job and really do want to please their customers. They are very accommodating to walk ins and will always try to fit you in. Exceptional family owned local business.
