“Rice's has an amazing level of compassionate care. They go above and beyond. My husband needed a medication urgently, which would prevent his condition becoming much more serious over the next couple days. A prescription had been called in to Rite Aid Friday afternoon. He was given a dose at the doctor's so we could wait until Saturday. I called Rite Aid Saturday morning at 9. They said it was unlikely they could fill it until next week. They were "busy". I explained the urgency. They said they had "other commitments" but I could try another pharmacy and get the prescription transferred. After a failed attempt at Walgreens, I called Rice's. Like day and night. I rushed over there to do the paperwork and they'd already got the process started. We then waited nearly 3 hours for Rite Aid to deign to transfer the prescription (which, again, is what they told me they would do). The amazing pharmacy hero at Rice's called them every 10 minutes and when they did actually send it over, was as excited and relieved as I was. A truly wonderful place and I will, in future, never go anywhere else. I even did the paperwork to get me in the system for the future.”
“I love coming to this Walmart. The staff is always helpful and the cashiers are super friendly. I often have to get help reaching things on the top shelf because I'm only 5 ft and the staff has always been friendly and happy to help. I've even had customers be happy to help me. This Walmart is definitely our go-to for shopping and now we use the pharmacy as well.”
“When the fourth in our party tested positive, the Urgent Care doc sent her prescription here. It was ready in about a half-hour. Very short wait in line. Pharmacy tech was helpful with lots of info about the meds and recommendations.”

“I don't typically write reviews but to the pharmacist working on 9/23/25, thank you! There was a mishap with transferring my prescription but she sorted it out and filled it within 15 minutes (even let me skip the line to pick it up!)! Then there was a second mishap and she sorted it out right then and there despite being slammed with other prescriptions. Kudos to these pharmacists who are overworked yet kind enough to slow down and help us out! Wish I had caught her name!”

“I see a lot of negative reviews, but feel that not everyone understands the tremendous pressure these people are under. Many local pharmacies have closed, forcing those that remain to serve more patients without more staff. The Safeway pharmacy personnel I deal with appear to be scrambling to do the best they can. In today's economy, I'd hope everyone could sympathize with that.
Sure, I'd rather wait 30 seconds than 10 minutes. Yeah, it would be great if every transaction came off without a hitch. For my part, I feel sorry for the professionals at Safeway (and elsewhere) who know that the conditions of their employment prevent them from meeting the standards they've set for themselves, but do their best anyway.”

“They were very caring and helpful in getting my cat's FIP treatment filled when he was on his last leg. They went the extra mile checking in with my vet and advocating for our cat.
Edit: he survived and is doing much better but still recovering.”
