I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt this needed to be said. I had a really frustrating experience with a cashier named Harley B. During checkout, I asked for cash back, and not only was I met with an eye roll, but Harley acted like I was asking for a huge favor instead of just using a standard feature.
When I asked why I wasn't given an option to choose cash back when checking out, Harley snapped back with a rude tone and made no effort to explain anything. The entire interaction felt rushed, cold, and unnecessarily tense. I even double-checked my receipt because I was so unsure the transaction was handled correctly—Harley clearly had no interest in communicating or being helpful.
Everyone has bad days, but being openly rude to customers is unacceptable. I hope this gets addressed, because it really soured what should’ve been a quick, simple stop

New to this store and we were having trouble finding things. Everyone working in the store was very helpful. Even the gentleman at the checkout had a great attitude and was helpful.

Wonderful Safeway! Definitely one of the cleaner ones in the area. Lots of great variety and really great deals when you have their rewards! The weekly coupons are some of the best deals for any grocery store.

Safeway always has a good variety of options to choose from. They are the closest to my house, so it is a good place for a quick stop to pick up a few items.

I had a lunch emergency at work so i sent my son to grab chinese from safeway close to me. When my son walked in i was overwhelmed with the smell of burt food after quick inspection i found all three boxes of noodle stank of burnt noodle ugh the smell filled my house the noodles tasted burt and over cooked. The noodles were triple the size of a normal noodle. Just gross. The meat was dry and could not be chewed and was also over cooked. None of it could be eaten. Nobody would touch the food. Needless to say my lunch emergency has still not be solved. I am now out the 30$ i spent on the food plus the cost to replace it. Not to mention the fact that i still have 5 hungry clients ewph massive fail. I will never come here again for this kind of food. Disgusting.

This rating is specifically for the produce manager!! We gave recently changed shopping from our previous store to Safeway/Philomath and are happy. However we have reverted to buying our produce to Market of Choice due to the last 4 times we’ve purchased over $200-$350dollars per visit we were so frustrated by the quality or lack of items that it was shocking. Simple ordinary items…green onions, yellow onions,jalapeño peppers, lemons for example. Packaged salads have been empty. All 4vusited! The other frustrating thing is produce staff leave their resupply carts directly in the middle of the isles. Worse possible times of shopping hours.
Not sure this will go on deaf ears but truly hope it won’t. We’re not the only ones who have noticed

Glad I just got a lecture by Denis the gas attendant for accidentally saying fill before saying $30 regular. I immediately corrected myself and he gave me this whole lecture like he was my father about it while I’m with my children in the car.

As their was a mistake on a transaction someone other than the checker stepped in out of nowhere and instead of correcting the mistake kept saying I didn't have the funds for the transaction and being extremely rude to me and mouth and accusing me of yelling when I never yelled! This store should really reconsider some of their employees as they display out of character and lack professionalism for customers! Sad

Tried the curbside option. Partner called to say we were in the spot, then I went in to grab a bag of coffee and use self checkout. Safeway employee finished loading and was closing the trunk as I was walking back to the car with my one item.
