Literally refused to stop misgendering me after being asked, ive transitioned fully, and there was no reason for it after correcting them. "im from a different generation" is no excuse to continue doing so. I have a beard and no chest, strangers do it right, so can you.

This bank is a huge scam. Not only is the overdraft fee 35$ but they dont send you ANY notifcation if there is an incident. I had 2$ in my account before i went into surgery. Called PF and paused my account ( they didnt pause it, the manager even apologized and said he would happily explain to the teller) they charged me 20$ and I was overdrafted 80$ not only did the PF charges GO THROUGH they charged me 2 seperate oversdraft fees and refused to refund it. Im going to keep fighting to get my money back but once I do im leaving this bank FOR GOOD. Had multiple fraud charges on my account with again NO PROTECTION OR NOTIFCATION. Banks are shady as it is but this one and bank of america are truly the height of capitalism. Im going to a credit union ✌️

So slow. Should not have to sit for 30 minutes to deposit money.

I've been banking with Umpqua for more than 20 years. I love them.

I've been with Umpqua for about twenty years, and in the beginning they were very friendly and accommodating. But now they've grown too big for their own good. I was just fined $10 for an "Account Maintenance Fee" after withdrawing all the money in my Money Market account in order to close it. But they didn't bother to warn me about the fee when they saw that the balance fell below the minimum required for a free account. But I have three accounts--one of which supports a low dollar amount debit card that I use for small purchases at unfamiliar businesses. That way, if I got scammed, they couldn't get more than the low balance I maintain--but there has never been a fee for this account regardless of the balance. Also, I'm 72 and can't remember all the rules for three different accounts. They have plenty of resources to send promotions for their financial products but no resources for a fee warning! I tried to complain to the morons at their call center, but these low level flunkies don't care about the customers at all, and won't let me talk to a bank executive to discuss my ADA needs. So I filed an EEOC complaint against them because they allow their newest and least knowledgeable employees to make decisions that can place the bank in serious legal jeopardy. They used to promote a policy that said a customer can come to any branch and talk to the bank CEO on a secure phone line. But now you can't even get into a branch, and they won't let a lowly customer talk to a bank big shot. And they've refused numerous requests to ID their ADA Compliance Officer (or even to say if they have one). So if you expect small business values and personal service (like they had when they were hungry), then this is no longer the place for your money--because they'll take it if they can even slightly justify it. And if you're a senior citizen like me, they'll take advantage of your inability to memorize all their conflicting and confusing rules.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BRANCH! Everyone is so helpful, friendly, and just all around show that they care. I came in with no credit trying to get a credit card, was denied, but was given great advice to start building credit since Umpqua did not approve, and then four months later I applied again and was approved! Investing, and savings advice was always enthusiastically delivered. Also, Samuel is a great banker!! He's always helped out with anything and everything no matter how excessive my requests are, and I don't even live in the state anymore and he still helps me with any financial issues! Thanks Sam!

very frustrating online experience. If you need to rely on bill pay, I would look for another option. Recent computer upgrade glitch continues without being resolved. Very disappointed, as we had always felt Umpqua had a strong reputation. They even sell your data, so you need to go in an unsubscribe.

They are too busy to acknowledge you are there. I guess they don't need my money.

Greg Norlander and his team are simply the best. They shoot you straight and do what they say. Don't mess around with your loan and do it right the first time with these guys.
