All employees were obnoxious. There was till issues from the customer in front of me, who paid, and the manager said that the nice enough lady at the counter would just have to eat it if there was an issue. Implying that If the computer failed, she would have to pay for the items herself. Several employees reassured me that the speaker I was going to by was tested and worked. When I got a charger to try it from my truck (because apparently they didn't have one to actually test it), the charger jack was clearly broken upon closer inspection. Manager was rude as well when I informed them of it and left the speaker at the front. St. Vinnie in town is so much cleaner, employees are friendlier, and I have never had an issue with broken items on the floor. It was the last straw for me after several trips in a row. I will never shop here again. Also, no way to contact goodwill, or anyone in charge of the store directly to leave a complaint.

I traveled from Northern Oregon to California and shopped all Goodwills along the way. This one was the best one. Very clean, friendly staff and great items!

*update 3/3/24* decided to do some thrifting with my family on this boring rainy day and ONCE AGAIN I had employees following us around, interrupting our conversations to constantly ask if we need a cart. We once again lost interest from the discomfort of being harassed and followed so we bought a few shirts and left.As much as I enjoy thrifting in our small town, Iam done shopping here. The prices are very high. I’ve seen stuff from the dollar store marked as 10$+ here. The manager is entitled and very rude. I typically shop here a few times a month with my family until last week when I was followed around the store by multiple employees who kept asking if I needed a cart, several different times. Me and my family felt so uncomfortable by it all we cut our shopping trip short and left after purchasing the couple items we had.Goodwill should think about getting new managers and someone else to price the items accordingly at this location.

Worst of the worst. Do not shop at this store. Prices are beyond ridiculous and staff thinks they own the world and are rude and disrespectful. I would drive to Portland to shop to avoid this place. I will be calling corporate and making sure they know the names of the people that should be fired and how badly this store is. Unbelievable, this store is the worst thrift store I've ever been too.
I wouldn't step foot in this store if I were you. Thank God st.vincent de Paul is coming to cottage Grove..

They refuse to accept returns. They won't give your money back. They will only let you re-donate. This is a rule created by them during covid. With a name like goodwill you would think it would impact their culture.relying on people like me to donate

Worst goodwill. Rebekah the manager was extremely rude and antaganistic. She followed me and verbally attacked me for no reason. If anyone else experiences this please call corporate to complain. I will never shop here again.
