I would stay away from the prepackaged beef from the butcher. I got 4 separate 1lb beef packages all horrid rotten smelling and they were packed the same day! Unbelievable.

Zero stars if possible. After waiting in line 3 different times and still not being able to purchase anything due to the incompetency of both the employees and "management" I gave up and went to Walmart. It takes effort to make Walmart employees look good.

This store is very rude to customers. If a business has it posted closed at 11. I expect it to close at 11. Not at least 15 minutes early. We work late in my house hold and needed bananas for a baby for breakfast and one thing for dinner. When we had made it inside we were screamed at, crused at and had very rude faces made at us when inside saying they closed. Saying we would take to long to shop, in reality we were the first ones to check out. I wont be spending my time or money there anymore.

Always low on stock, discounts never ring in correctly, selling expired food on the shelf and meat brought in from Canada.

This store is always understaffed, during the busiest times, only 2 checkout lanes are open. I refuse to use self checkout. I've finally had enough, I'll quit shopping there.Another reason I will quit shopping there, the deli.The deli staff are rude, ignore you, and seem to be pissed off to have to serve you. I used to think maybe they were busy or having a bad day, but it's every damn time! To hell with Safeway Cottage Grove!

Update i add the birthday for my app and i get told i have to wait till April for my birthday treat my birthday is March 26th like don't offer it unless you can give it in the month of the birthday it makes the company look more like a ignorant team that can't get a app correctly updated but hey ill wait till april look at the PicUpdate 5/8/22 night manager has no clue on what his store times and policies are very ignorant in the way of how he handled it crying out scamdemic as the reason they said the sandwich department didn't have anyone to make me a sandwich very childishWas told it closed at 4 however everything in the area was not wrapped up and put away nothing was cleared and put away and the service deli was still fully open with hit food out and 2 employees in that department.This store is trash I've had so many problems with this store its time to step up safewayYou just lost a customer forever.People in Cottage Grove need better places to shop.

I have tried multiple times to get good fruit and veggies and everything is semi already bad, red onions for example your whole display of red onions were squishy and bad... is it so hard to ask for good veggies? I have to travel all the way to the Springfield Fredmeyers to get beautiful yummy veggies but sometimes I can't afford the gas to go. Do better please

If you need a supermarket, Safeway is great.
If you need a pharmacy McCoy's on East Street is the way to go.
