Today was a Krazy Daze day here in our wonderful town. Lots of people, things to see, and discounts and sales everywhere. We stopped in at Brixius mainly to see what was available with sale pricing in place. Their displays were beautiful with sparkle everywhere and a discount on top of that in some instances. There were some very nice items to consider for gifting. Two saleswomen were there to help with sales and questions. They were friendly but not pushy. I asked for an estimate for sizing down a gold ring. Their verbal estimate was $50.00 and any pieces of unused gold would be returned to me. Since the ring was not present for them to see, there's that possibility that other factors could change their guesstimate ... and I've not yet done any price comparing, so I don't honestly know if $50.00 is reasonable. But it has given me a dollar amount to save for and that is helpful.
