I pick up a few prescriptions here 2x a month. The staff working for the pharmacy are always on top of their game, and if I have any issues with a script (liken when I needed a refill, staff offered and called my Dr. for an authorization) or any minuscule questions I may have; they are present and ready to give me an educated answer!
Never a long wait on hold, the friendly employees are always quick to pick up the phone, and if there are any lines inside, the pharmacy staff are extreamly efficient and move fast to get us (customers) in and out with a smile.

Other than the lack of privacy due to the location of the pharmacy in juxtaposition to the rest of the store its a great place to get your RXs.

There are 2 pharmacists in particular that are extremely rude, patronizing, and will not take the time to double check to see if they indeed made a mistake. These two pharmacists never give their names when ansering the phone either. One of them constantly hangs up on you, even if you still have questions. The manager is awful as well. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHARMACY!There is only 1 cashier, so expect to be in line for some time. I have waited in a line for 20+ min to just pick up medicine.

CALLED THE COPS BECAUSE I WAITED ON SITE FOR MY RX. I am disabled so pick up a controlled substance Rx every month which means same day pickup. And for a year now they have not given me a timeframe when I call in the morning as to what point in the day it will be done. I called twice and got 'well it could be an hour or it could be hours'. Gave it a couple hours and went down there. They told me not yet ready and no indicators of when it would be so I did some grocery shopping for an hour then came back. They told me not yet so I sat in their waiting room for an hour. At which time the pharmacist came up to me and said 'I told you on the phone the first time it wouldn't be ready until 2:00. That's another hour and a half. You can come back then'. I told him I wished he would have said that in the first place or either time I came to the counter but no one gave me a timeframe until just now and that I will just wait here. The man turned red in the face and started screaming at me that I need to leave. Told me he was gonna call the cops if I stayed in the waiting room to wait for my script. It went downhill from there.I get they are overwhelmed and overworked. But there is no excuse. And frankly they should know how long it's gonna take to fill a script and tell you the first time you call, period. We switched pharmacy at that point and won't be back.

Safeway is a good store to shop at but the bathrooms are the worst!! The mens bathroom is tagged and dirty!! Got this small town, this is wrong and should be addressed right away!!
