Lesa is a great dog training instructor. She is a no nonsense teacher but she is great at what she does and you can really see the love she has for the dogs. I have been going to her for 1 1/2 years and she has help me to push farther with my dog more than I ever thought I would go.

I’ve taken two dogs through Lesa’s classes. She has a no nonsense approach to training. If you put the work in you’ll get a well trained dog I have also boarded with her and the dogs are well cared for and seem to love to stay with her.

Lesa's Obedience training and boarding is the ONLY place we would trust to properly train and board our best friends, our dogs... We worked with Lesa to train our German Shepherd Kira, 13 years ago. It was well worth the time and money invested...Now we are training our new German Shepherd 11 month old pup with Lesa... So very grateful for the wonderful training for our new dog too.. She has a smaller boarding facility as she gives each animal individual care and playtime. We trust her and have given her name to many friends and family.. So fortunate to have her as our trainer

I can't stress enough that this type of training is what your dog NEEDS. This isn't for people who want to baby their dogs and let them run the show. Dogs need structure and need to know who the alpha is. Doesn't matter if your dog is big or small. Lesa teaches you how to get your dog to respect you and do as their told not because they get something (a treat) out of it but because they respect you and want to do what you ask. My dogs love coming to training and they love Lesa. All the dogs in class love her! I will never own a dog and not do her training. It's made my dogs so much more enjoyable. She understands dog behavior and has helped so many dogs that have had issues. Even aggression issues that other trainers can't help with. If you can take constructive criticism about your dog and want to help your dog, call her. She's the best!

I called this kennel to get some info about training a dog to not mark in the house. The person I talked to was real abrupt and made me feel like I did something bad. Almost like she was trying to be dominant to me and I was the dog! It was a very uncomfortable conversation! Wouldn’t let me explain my situation with my dog and demanded a yes or no answer. Didn’t agree with my vet about waiting longer to neuter a male dog. Also said, if my dog was in her house, he wouldn’t last long there! It appears her approach has no compassion! I'm sure you feel your way of teaching is right but, you're just one trainer in a sea of thousands and I will find a kinder trainer whom I feel is a better fit for myself and my dog!

Talked with this person on the phone about training my male dog not to mark inside the house. She was abrupt and rude. Continued to dominate the conversation like she was training an animal! She ask me a question and insisted I give her a yes or no answer not wanting to hear my side of the story! Didn't agree with my vet who told me to wait longer on neutering. She said, who ever told you is wrong! Also, said if my dog was in her house he would not last long! I felt her approach to me was way off, a very uncomfortable conversation! No compassion working with others! She's just one trainer in a sea of thousands, and I will find a kinder more understanding trainer who would be a better fit for me and my dog!

Lesa is an incredible dog trainer. My dog is an unusual breed that is often temperamental, stubborn, and dog-aggressive. When I called she knew exactly what I was talking about, took my concerns seriously, and encouraged me to come watch her class to see what we would be doing. I entered her beginning course with a dog I would have been desperate to just take a walk with and now people stop me and ask how my dog is so well behaved, both on and off leash. She works just as well with small puppies as she does with your toughest breeds, and she treats each dog individually.Her boarding is absolutely where you want your dogs to be if they can’t be at home. She spends ample time with every dog that comes in and treats them as if they were her own. Her attentiveness and care that she puts into making sure your dog is comfortable is unparalleled. If I can’t board with her I simple don’t board at all.If you just got a pup and want them to learn how to be a good, well mannered companion, call Lesa. If you’re at your wits end and need a doggy miracle, call Lesa. If you want to go on vacation and know your dogs are safe, you know what to do.

Did wonders for our pup, wish I could have continued with classes, but was just to far for me to drive thru traffic. She is firm with a no nonsense approach, but you can tell she loves the dogs. We also felt completely comfortable boarding our dog with her.
