“Amazing, small, locally owned nursery. Customer service was super friendly and top tier! One of the few places I was able to find fresh and fragrant holiday greens and wreaths. They have lots of holiday fare and super affordable prices. I will absolutely return for the stellar customer service! I purchased a few wreaths and they even offered to carry them to the car for me which I feel was very kind and attentive. Go and check them out!”

“We have moved over 20 miles further out away from Portland and yet we still travel to this wonderful produce market, and quite frankly, a whole lot of other things that this wonderful place provides. Today, in the middle of January, we walked into the market and it was relatively quiet for a Thursday morning and everything was displayed so attractively and not a distressed or rotten piece of produce anywhere! Everything so tidy and everything so fresh looking. This place never lets me down. Their workers are always busy grooming and tidying up produce row. They had pickling cucumbers! They had beautiful heads of endive that will make a great Caesar salad! The broccoli was absolutely pristine. I wanted some fruit but I'm so skeptical about ripeness and yet the wife grabbed a perfect pineapple and by Sunday it's going to be so nice and juicy. These folks pay attention to the small details. Nobody wants bruised apples. Nobody wants tired and old produce. Everything here is wonderful. I even had to grab a loaf of cranberry orange bread as they have added more baked goods to entice you as you wait in line. I highly recommend growers outlet for their continued dedication and effort in providing extremely high quality produce.”
“This place is amazing! I am truly tickled by the owner who made a custom cement collar for me that had broken on my fountain. I had originally called and talked to him and he asked me to send him a photo and measurements of the piece I needed. I stopped by to bring him the broken piece and he had already casted exactly what I needed. Thank you so much! You really made my month. I Cant wait to get my fountain going because of you!”
“Been a customer for several years. Great service. Great prices. Great quality. I always laugh when I go to Home Depot and see people buying multiple bags of compost/potting soil. For the price of just a few bags, you can go to Mt Scott Fuel and buy a whole truck load.”

“I love that they are open year round! Based on their rotating displays, selection, and layout, I have learned how to garden. Seriously! They carry what you need at each time of the year, and the plants starts housed where they grow best (full sun, shade, greenhouse, indoor) it has been a *priceless* guide for this new gardener. Over the last few years, I have grown to rely on Portland Nursery to help me transform my once grass-only lawn into (what will be) the cottage garden of my dreams -- one bulb/start/bag of compost at a time. “Quality assortment of tools, irrigation supply and garden lightning. Good and helpful crew under supervision of manager, Dave, who will go above and beyond for you, to make sure you are satisfied and get a service, it is hard to come by nowadays. He would put an extra effort and time to coach his new, young, crew members, even if it means him staying longer at work to finish his tasks. That is a type of guy, you want on your side, when it comes to finish projects. Highly recommend this location.”
“I was looking for a specific pressure washer and though the app said it was in stock, there were none on the shelf. I asked one of the associates in garden for help and saw what I saw and said they were out. I showed he the count on the app and asked her if she could check into it to see if they were stored somewhere else and she promptly turned to another customer and began helping him.I went to customer service and Bobby promptly found some in overhead. He called Katie and she was quick to physically locate them. She found a lift operator and got them pulled down. There were several frustrating events that lead to delays but she stuck with it even going to get a cart and loading it on the cart for me. Several customers interrupted her to get her attention and she persisted with me to be sure I got what I needed while remaining polite to the other customers. I have to say Bobby was very helpful and Katie was super helpful. Best service I have ever received at HD without question and I am a contractor that is in here almost daily.Katie J turned around what looked like it was going to be a bad experience into one to remember.”

Overall the folks there were amazing, especially Candace Ledingham-Ramos was super helpful and patient with all my questions. She walked me through the different options of fridges as well as delivery options. Additionally the manager, Eric , was also extremely helpful and supportive. I highly recommend this location and looking forward to go there for my next purchase!”

We have been gifted cuttings to propagate, 10% off a hanging basket on the spot (we couldn’t decide on one we loved them all), and a free succulent when we were leaving.

“Finally received contact today. Will update when/if order is received. update: order was received, met team at nearest freeway drop off point. I started my review with one star-because I ordered, contacted them 4 times with no response. Finally, the road crew got in touch with me via text, and we arranged a time/date. The apricots are LOVELY-I am a jam maker, and they are difficult to find. Changing my review to 5 stars, but just know this: They deliver only twice a year, they are not a "typical" online business, so if you need something NOW or even SOON, this probably isnt the business for you. I know now, and am aware. The delivery people are a husband and wife team who are very friendly.”

“Went this weekend to pick up some plants. Great deals on trees (I picked up a weeping cherry and ginkgo at a fraction of the price compared to the Portland Nursery). They currently have a great selection on blueberries and raspberries. Phil and Mary were very kind to my kids (gave them each a little present). Will be back for more plants.”
