Ainslee's Salt Water Taffy is a beloved, long-standing shop on the Oregon Coast, considered a must-do while in the area. Customers drive out of their way to visit, with many returning for years. The excellent, delicious salt water taffy is a major draw, praised for being always fresh, always soft, and always delicious. Favorites include all the berry flavors, banana, and pineapple. The shop also offers good buttercream taffy, delicious fudge—particularly the rocky road—as well as good popcorn and delicious caramel corn.

The business is located right on Highway 101. Parking can be difficult, with people vying for street parking and a smallish public lot behind the stores, but it is considered worth the walk. Taffy is available in bulk for good prices.
