I took my old laptop with Windows 7 to Todd. I am a 74 year old retired bookkeeper and was beyond frustrated with email problems. He helped me right away. I appreciated his expertise and patience. I will definitely go to Todd for an upgrade. Thank you, Todd.

Visited Feb 2023, He couldn’t help me with education/teaching me how to use my 13 year old functioning mac laptop. This is what I called and asked for when making the appointment. He’s definitely knowledgeable about apple and if you have never Mac products or a higher budget you’ll be okay. There’s more but in summary I don’t think he prefers to work with older technology.Everything that did happen in my appointment (starting an iPhone upgrade and increasing phone storage) probably could have happened virtually but I didn’t get clarity that was an option. My advice for folks looking for mac support here is when making an appointment to ask for more clarity - around pricing, time needed for services being inquired about, etc I just had no idea

I was frustrated to the point of exasperation with my smart phone.Todd was patient, direct, considerate, and explained set-up and use in terms I could understand and put to use. He is a good investment in peace of mind, and getting on with what I would rather be doing.

Had big problems with my Mac Book air but Todd had it cleaned up and running like a brand new computer in no time at all. He is by far the most knowledgeable Mac tech I’ve run across and explained everything in language I could understand. He was a pure pleasure to work with and I will recommend him to anyone any time! Thanks Todd !!

I am so disappointed with the services and let down with them after the fact that I paid off my phone the first day and paid for a service plan. The sales agent then turned around and put an I cloud address on the phone as her own password. Apple will not unlock the phone. Now after spending the fuel and time to go in and sit down to clear the issue up, I'm being informed I didn't pay for the unit and they will not unlock the phone.699.00 Paper weight. Very non perfesional.Us cellular1940 Fort Jones Rd, Yreka, CA 96097I will not deal with this location again.

Everything was explained and documented, extremely professional and also educational. This is where you want to go for Apple support in the Rogue Valley.

I went here to have my Ipad repaired. He was very honest with me and he gave me all of the options to either repair or replace. I felt so good about my first encounter that I brought him my Mac PC and 3 hard drives. I have never been a mac user but my ex spouse left all of our Family Movies, Pictures and Music on Apple Drives. He was able to consolidate the most up to date data. Then he backed everything up. When I went to pick up the MAC and the Hard drives he spent 30 minutes with me showing and explaining everything he did. He then showed me some stuff I never knew my Mac could do. I truly feel Todd makes an excellent Trainer and repair man. I am planing on returning so I can get classes to learn more about everything you can really do with a MAC. If you are looking for someone who you can trust with your Data, ( Pictures, Music, Files) and to explain and teach you anything you need to learn, this is the place for you.

I locked up my phone because I forgot my passcode. I was referred to Todd by Verizon to help me unlock my phone and Apple ID. Todd was able to do both and get me an updated phone and get it all set up for me so I didn’t have to deal with that. I’m so grateful! Highly recommended

I spilled juice on my mac and needed help with a repair. Todd was easy to work with, punctual, and had great communication. He sent my computer in to be fixed and tested it upon the return to find that some of the keys were still sticking. He sent the laptop in to Apple once again and made sure it was in perfect working order before returning it to me.

My husband and I needed to upgrade our iMac. We called Todd and he scheduled an appointment that fit our schedule. We were going to just upgrade our old iMac but Todd was 100% honest with us and helped us decide on a newer one that, in the long run will help us with future business plans. He offered professional advice but was kind and understanding. He worked with our budget and gave sound advice. He went through his services and explained all he offered. He let us choose what we needed with no pressure. I recommend him and his expertise. He’s professional, honest, kind, and understanding. Something you don’t find a lot of anymore. We have two daughters in college and will be going back to Todd for all our future needs. He offers classes and consultations and his knowledge shines. THANK YOU TODD! ??????

I had hired Todd just over a year ago to help with some Mac issues. He's very knowledgeable, and while he attended to the defined issues, his prices were high and his "next recommendations" were quite overpriced, according to my nephew, a long-time MAC expert working at Microsoft. So when it came time to get a new iMac, I was reluctant to call Todd again, but for some reason did it anyway (didn't;t know of other choices). This time he charged my credit card, during initial consult in his home office, without showing my the line items of the invoice. My "uninformed 'Yes'" was the source of great regret... Two days later I was still questioning 1) prices 2) unnecessary services yet not performed and 3) a "pushy" attitude that failed to take into account my preferences and specific, well-stated needs. For one, his insistence on privacy and security steps might be industry practice, but I stated at least 3-4 times (loudly) this is NOT my approach. Additionally there were his "training" charges I did not opt in for, and appraisal of my old iMac as worthless (selling for $225-275 on Craig's list) and other areas where I felt steamrolled. My main concern was a VERY LARGE music library on iTunes as #1 priority that needed careful, complete transfer. This did eventually happen but caused me great stress and concern -- which was met with "don't worry" while the solution eluded him. Same with the overall backup. Todd interrupted the existing modem/wifi system and installed something else. Eventually, this also worked, but was not the ONLY way to do it, and, again, raised the overall cost. While Todd has well-earned expertise, and works (a little too) quickly in "his" areas, his attending to my stated needs, style and situation as a home business entrepreneur/event producer seemed very much ignored. I will never work with Todd again, and do not recommend him unless you are crystal clear up front, compare costs elsewhere, and be sure his priority "menu" of what (he thinks) you need is gone over with a fine-tooth=d comb. Buyer Beware! I will say he did provide a small chargeback, but only on services he didn't perform -- no willingness on other charges that I challenged and, had I known up front, didn't even want. Todd's priorities are clearly end billing total, and helping in "his way" without remembering "the customer is always right"! Everything does work pretty well now, I'm out a few hundred dollars more than I needed to be, and my nervous system has yet to recover.

I spoke with Todd on the phone today and let him know that I wanted to transfer documents from my old 2008 MacBook to my new MacBook Air. He asked how I heard about him and I told him Yelp. I asked how long of a drive it was from my location to Eagle Point and he said it would be about 45 mins. When I pulled into his driveway he called and told me he had opened a store at Rogue Valley Mall and that he was actually there (meaning I had driven 25 minutes further than I needed to). I drove the 25 minutes back the way I had come to Medford and went to the mall to Smart Help where he now works. I let him know I didn't want to spend too much money and he asked what my budget was. I asked him how much transferring documents and giving me a quick rundown of the new Mac would be. He quoted me $200 to update my old MacBook, $150 for the external hard drive that I told him I was not in the market for, $150 for transferring my documents, $100 for wiping my old MacBook and $100 for a "recorded dock tutorial." In total Todd tried to tell me it would cost me $700 to get documents off my old laptop onto my new one "the right way." I called around and got 2 quotes for what I want at $40 and $45. I dug around in the reviews that are not recommended and others seem to think he is a scam artist. Needless to say I left his store after having wasted time but thankfully not money.
