Visiting this location can be quite enjoyable, particularly due to their attractively low prices. It offers a refreshing alternative to the pricier local grocery store and Dollar General, where the cost per unit can be deceivingly high. However, my rating settles at three stars due to a crucial factor: product freshness.Pros:Affordability: The prices are undeniably budget-friendly, making it a popular choice for shoppers on a budget.Energy Drink Bargains: They offer excellent deals on energy drinks.Condiment Selection: There’s a decent variety of condiments available at low prices, with the exception of mayonnaise-based products.Meat Deals: There are often great promotions on meat products, especially if they are frozen.Cons:Product Freshness: Constant vigilance is required to check expiry dates, as I’ve encountered curdled mayonnaise and stale-tasting chips, crackers, and bread.Questionable Product Sources: There appears to be a correlation between their stock and that of the local food bank, raising questions about the origins of their products. I don't think they sell food bank items, but I wonder if it is the same vendor the Foodbank uses.Rancid Taste in Some Products: I had a particularly bad experience with a granola bar and a microwavable tomato soup, both of which tasted off, to the point of concern for potential food poisoning.Limited Product Reliability: Due to the issues mentioned above, shopping here comes with a risk, particularly if one is not meticulous about checking product expiry dates.In summary, while there are undeniable bargains to be found here, the potential for product freshness issues is a significant drawback.
