Unbelievable - They do not care about their individuals needs, nor do they care about their employees. Please do not do business with this company in any form, they have consistently been horrible to their employees (and individuals personal care) and it is painfully obvious that they just do not care about either employees or individuals. They consistently do not communicate with employees about clients needs, they lie and tell their employees lies regarding care for their individuals, they do not give adequate training to relief staff, they do not reprimand people in higher positions when they threaten to write up employees for doing their jobs, they do not believe in their own mission statement, and furthermore do not follow their mission statement in which it states 24 hour care. I would never allow someone to be in the care of this company, nor would I ever have the displeasure of working for a company that does not respect its individuals or employees. Absolutely appalling, and incredibly unethical.

Alvord-Taylor has an employee by name of Thomas Tirrell, who, for well over a year, has been cyber stalking and harassing numerous women on Facebook, calling them all manner of horrible names. We have attempted numerous times to reach out to their HR department and their website, but all attempts have been ignored. This man should NOT be working for a company that claims to be helping disabled persons. He is clearly unbalanced, to say the least. We would appreciate it if Alford-Taylor would respond to our queries and take this matter seriously.

I had lived there for about a year and it was the second worst place I have ever lived, the management was a complete joke, they lie about taking advantage of the clients and much more, but I don't have the emotional capacity to get into it. NEVER PUT YOURSELF OR YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS IN THID PROGRAM!!

Working for this company was horrible. I have a physical disability and thought that a company catering to disabled people would be able to accommodate my simple requests, but they lost my adaptive equipment and management told me to stop bringing it up and just tell upper management, who told me it was my fault it was taking so long because I wasn’t doing a good enough job advocating for myself ?

I've done a variety of work in my life, this is my favorite job so far. I can't imagine more rewarding or fulfilling work. I don't mean you'll get rich just that when you clock out at the end of the day you know you did something good and helped someone in a meaningful way. I think that kind of fulfillment is priceless.

The employees are more about themselves than what they're there for. Just about everything goes on in those homes. Especially Martha Court. It all reflects the house managers and the dinks that hire them. The company is failing and can only be saved by another company that wants to get involved. I was an honest employee that did my job well but was ousted because I didn't get along with the other staff and my house manager was an ex employee that I used toworked with. After quitting, I informed upper management of "everything that goes on" at Martha Court and they couldn't have cared less....unreal.

Alvord Taylor is a great place to work if you want an entry level job where they don't drug test. You will pay for needing a job like that with constant abuse by both clients and staff. You can be fired for anything in the first year at any time and the Union doesn't help you.
